*Amara's POV*

We walked into the caves.

As soon as we entered, the horrible feeling in my stomach grew.

"I don't like this place." I whispered.

"Neither do I." Fili said.

We all heard something roar in the distance. Kili began to charge.

"Hey, stay here." Fili said.

"No, well all stay here or go together." I told him.

"No, you and Kili search the lower levels. I've got this." He said.

Before I could say anything else he ran off.

"Come on." Kili said and we quickly checked the lower levels, that way we could go back to Fili.

We made our way outside of the caves, there was an opening and we looked across the river. I saw Thorin. Dwalin was waving his hand, telling us to come back.

"We can't leave without Fili." I said.

Kili nodded in agreement.

Then I heard a drumbeat.

I looked out and saw Thorin and Dwalin. Bilbo was with them. They all looked shocked and scared. I wondered why.

I stepped out of the cave barely and saw.

I gasped.

Azog had Fili.

"This one dies first, then the brother, then your friend, and the she-elf. And then you, Oakenshield." Azog said.

Fili was wiggling in his arms. Azog held him up.

"No." I whispered.

"You will die last. So you can watch." Azog said.

"Run!" Fili yelled, then Azog stabbed him.

"No!" I screamed.

Tears streamed down my face.

Azog threw Fili and he landed right in front of Kili and I.

"Here ends your filthy bloodline!" Azog yelled.

I quickly rushed to his body, Kili fell backwards.

"No, no, no." I said.

I scoped him up and rested his head on my lap.

"Please, Fili. Come back." I said, but I knew he was dead.

I shut his eyes and turned to look at Kili.

Kili was angry. Very angry. He started running up the steps towards Azog.

"Kili!" Thorin and I both yelled, but he ignored us.

No he wasn't going to die too. I couldn't let that happen.

I gently laid Fili down and ran after Kili.

A few minutes later I heard something. Bats. There were screeching and flying over.

Then I saw Bolg. He was with another army. Oh no.

"Kili!" I yelled again.

I lost him.

Where was he? This was bad. Very, very bad.

I saw Thorin and Azog.

Thorin looked like he was okay. I kept looking for Kili.

A few seconds later I finally found him.
