You had just left your office, hands clutching onto your purse as your gaze was casted on the obsidian sky. The darkness provided a wonderful background for the thousands of the stars that littered the sky. 

You had already bid your colleagues farewell and were now on your way to your apartment when you received a call from your good friend, Inui.

"Hello?" You spoke up after picking up the phone, standing at the subway platform as you waited for your train, "Hey, [Name]!!" His voice was unusually cheery, making you suspicious of his intentions, "What do you need?" 

From the other side, you could hear his heavy breathing as he stopped talking, "I-uh... Could you come over to the Neon Nights... I-uh.. I mean we, as in all of us guys, we decided to go drinking and they're all drunk now..." You could hear the sheepishness in his voice, making you heave a sigh.

"So... You need my help?" Almost immediately, his calming voice rang in your ears again, "Yeah... It's completely fine if you're busy!! I do have a bunch of other people I can ring up, so no need to force yourself!!" You couldn't help but shake your head with an amused smile resting on your lips.

"No, it's fine... I'll take them home..." You could hear him heave a sigh of relief as he turned to the call again, "I promise I'll pay you back." You hummed anyways as you both decided to cut the call and you made way to Neon Nights.

You dragged your body to the famous bar, walking over to see Inui tapping his foot on the pavement outside the bar while occasionally glancing at his phone in his hands. You whistled over to get his attention and watched him lift his head as his sapphire eyes twinkled with gratitude.

"[Name]!! Wow, that was fast!!" He smiled over kindly at you and you returned his smile one of your own, "My office isn't that farther away, and I was just about to leave... So, how've you been?" You started, watching as he rubbed his neck with a nervous grin, "Well, I've been well... but Koko's been... a bit down lately..." 

Even if you didn't show it, your breathing hitched slightly, "Is... Is he okay?" You asked, eyes wide in worry that you couldn't help but reveal to the scarred boy. 

He smiled sadly at you, "Well, why don't you ask him that yourself?" Your eyes widened when you saw Koko as one of the few guys that were slumped on the table of the bar, "Did he-" 

You were cut off by Inui nodding with a frown. Your eyes downcasted and the man beside you was quick to notice it, "Could you do me a favour and take him home? I have another other friend coming over with a car to help me with the others..." He admitted as you turned to him with an unreadable expression.

"Okay..." With that, you walked over to the passed out guy on the table. Your eyes scanned his face, watching as he slept away in ignorance. You raised a hand to brush some strands of his hair away from his face and studied his usually sharp looking face, that seemed unfamiliarly softened. 

He slept as if he didn't have a care in the world...

Inui watched you with a smile before picking up one of his other friends, "Take care of him, alright? This rich bastard's got 25,000 ¥ on him right now..." He grinned slightly and you couldn't help but chuckle at his words.

"Don't tempt me into robbing him, myself!!" You joked as he laughed alongside you, "Please don't..." You waved at him nonchalantly as you grinned, "Don't worry!! I know how frugul Mister Money-bags over here can be..."
