Previously we saw the aftermath of the date that had taken place between Issei and Sona Sitri, resulting in Serafall Leviathan, older sister of Sona Sitri joining the academy as a teacher under the guise of Sera Levi. It was shocking to most people, but the most shocked were Sona, Issei and Asia. Later an unexpected visitor tries to barge in the Hyoudou residence but was repelled by Issei's forcefield, the visitor happened to be known as Rias Gremory who had desperately tried to null the arranged marriage by losing her virginity to Issei Hyoudou, the latter completely refusing her in giving her what she wants. The next day Rias and the others were surprised that Sona along with Issei and his friends had showed up that was when another being by the name of Riser had shown up, he pretty much started to grope Rias in front of everyone, much to the disgust of the ORC, he then proceeded to taunt Issei who destroyed his pride and humiliated him in front of everybody, he decides to leave but not before swearing vengeance against Issei. In the aftermath of the situation, Issei decided to fight for Rias not because he has forgiven her, he just hates the fact that her freedom was taken and that would have been a fate far worse than death itself

In the aftermath of the events that took place in the Occult Research Club room, the ORC along with Issei's group head towards the Gremory mansion to train themselves to prepare for their upcoming fight, Issei had a much easy time to train a lot given that he needed to prepare himself for a future possible enemy, maybe enemies from other realities and timelines, but for now he had to train the ORC

Issei: Come on, ya slackers pick up the pace, even a snail moves faster that you guys.

Rias: Issei, please go easy on us, we cannot pick up the pace like the others

Issei: It is because you do not train at all, like I said if you want to become stronger you need to push yourself, Power of Destruction will not be your one way ticket in winning the game. Would you look at that Kiba and Koneko had already finished the up hill training, I expected this from Koneko but not from Kiba, it just shows that simple training can get you pretty far.

Koneko: Thanks, Issei

Issei: Yeah save it, you need to do now 25 laps while wearing that bag, and no usage of any of your demonic strength 

Koneko had her jaw dropped, 25 laps, but she did not give up, she wants to win especially for the ones that had given her a second chance at living, she will not become corrupt and drown in power like her sister did.

Koneko: You got it boss

Koneko began running the 25 laps, eventually after 30 minutes both Rias and Akeno managed to reach up and were dead tired. Even Kiba had begun increasing his durability after all Speed cannot be everything in a fight.

Issei: Alright since everyone is here, we will begin your actual training, Chara will train with Kiba, your primary weakness is the fact that you are not durable, Raynare will train with Akeno, While Koneko and Rias will train with me. Any questions?

Akeno raises her hand up

Issei: Alright then ask away

Akeno: Why do I have to train with her?

Issei knew she had asked out of pure hatred of the fallen angel race, after all she had the same past as her previous timeline counterpart, Issei knew she needed to get over her hatred as it will only do her more help than harm.

Issei: Well both of you are highly potent in magic, so it is best that you train together. Alright let's begin the training.

Issei and the others took their spots as they began their training in their respective fields.
