I was inspired from some dreamSMP fics (Passerine and Butterfly reign), and also my other idea for a masquerade ball.
Before we get in, here are some warnings:
Human Au is used! (Sun= Prince Samuel, Moon= Prince Markus)
Male Y/N is used! (Prince Y/N)
Arranged marriage is mentioned, as is death.

With all that said and done, please enjoy.

You stared at a woman from across the room, a look of bitter distaste on your face. That woman, Princess Cornelia, was your fiance, though you didn't want her to be.

She was deeply in love with you, whole you had your eyes on two males from the Daycrian kingdom. Those males, Prince Samuel and Prince Markus, were the two most attractive men you'd ever met.

However, you could not being this up to your parents. They would never allow you three to marry. Not because they were unsupporting, but if the blood line was to continue, you'd have to marry a woman.

You never once complained or spoke ill of Cornelia, however much you wished to. That would be common childish behaviour. You would not fall to such a level, and so kept your thoughts to yourself.

That was, until you found a loophole to get what you wanted while maintaining what your parents wished.

Currently, you were approaching your fathers study, were you knocked out the door lightly. "Enter." He called, muffled from behind the door. You opened it, walking in and closing it behind you. He looked up from his papers, regarding you with a curious look. "Yes, what is it?" He asked, putting his papers down.

You walked over to his desk, taking the seat opposite. "It's about my engagement to Princess Cornelia, father." He looked slightly agitated, opening his mouth to speak, but you raised your gloved hand. "Father, please, hear me out." He, with a skeptical look, closed his mouth as you lowered your hand back down to your lap, letting it mingle with the other in it's worry.

"I will marry Cornelia, but." At this, your father seemed stiff, agitated once more. "I do not have to love her, and can have other relationships. I will bear her children, I will provide for her, and I will give her everything she needs for a comfortable living, all I ask is that I am free to love whom I wish as well." Your father gave you a smile, nodding. "That sounds perfectly reasonable, yes. Do make sure to tell her, however." You give your father a look of pure gratitude, rising from your seat and bowing. "Thank you, your highness, I will be out of your way now."

You left his study with a wide smile on your face, now setting off to find Cornelia.

You found her in her (temporary) room, admiring her ring on her finger. "Princess Cornelia?" You ask, bowing. She turns to you, a blush spreading on her face. She rises from her bed, curtseying. "Prince Y/N." You two stand normally once more, and she takes a step toward you. "May I say how wonderous you look on this fine day?" She compliments, and you nod, "you, too, look ethereal." She giggles, blushing. "Oh, your highness, how kind of you."

You take a deep breath, knowing you'll have to let her down gently. "Princess Cornelia, there is a matter I must discuss with you, about the wedding?" She looks back at you, emerald green eyes sparkling. "What is it?" You sigh, gesturing to the chairs just beside you two. "You may want to sit down."
