"Hey, buddy." San gently shakes Minho's knees. "H-hey." He smiles when Minho makes an attempt to look at him. "Could try to get him to drink this."

Chan takes the water bottle from San and starts to unscrew the lid when Minho mumbles something. The other two lean in trying to understand him.

"Channie." Minho giggles, burying his head into Chan's shoulder as his arms wrap around the latter's.

"Err..." Chan and San look at each other confused. San has been friends with the two sitting on the bench for a few years now, but they've never met each other before. "I'm flattered, really. But I don't know you mate. Why don't you have some water." Chan only has one hand available as he tries to get the opening of the bottle to Minho's lips.

Minho turns his head away. Groaning.

"I am so sorry Chan. He's never like this. I don't understand why, but I'm sure he's been spiked or something." San apologises for Minho suddenly speaking impolitely with someone who's a stranger to him

"It's okay." Chan laughs it off. "I don't think he's all here, so don't worry."

"You're too nice sometimes." And it's true.

"Yo San!" San looks back at the house to someone yelling and waving from the doorway. "You're coming back to play some more?"

"Later!" He shouts and instantly regrets it as Minho grunts from the loud noise. San looks back at Minho, he wants to go back and play, but he can't leave his friend.

"Go." Chan jutts his head to the door. He can tell what San wants. "I'll look after him. I don't think he's letting go of me anytime soon anyway."

San sighs, gripping Minho's knees. "Behave." He says as if the other is able to fully understand.

"Go on." Chan insists.

San purses his lips before finally making a decision. "I owe you big time, seriously." Walking back to the house, he takes one more glance at his friends then closes the door.

It suddenly becomes a lot quieter in the garden with the  door closed. The muffled music makes it seem like the two are in their own world. Chan looks down at the male by his side and realises he doesn't know their name.

Having originally come outside for a smoke, Chan saw someone sitting on the bench. They were staring at the stars, their mouth moving as if they were talking to someone in a slurred speech. However, something didn't seem right, the person looked out of it. Chan took a seat next to them. The male looked at him, not saying a word as they rested their head on his shoulder. Chan was about to say something when San came running out.

"Err... mate?" Chan wants to face palm himself for how stupid he sounds and feels. "You need to drink. It'll make you feel better. I promise."

Minho eventually lifts his head and hums into a weak smile

Chan smiles back at how cute the male is. He knows he shouldn't since they're only behaving this way from being drugged. "Water?" He lifts the bottle again, hoping that it'll finally be drunk.

"Okay..." Minho lets go of Chan's arm and starts chugging, some water spilling out the corners of his lips. Letting out a sigh in relief, he places the empty bottle in Chan's lap.

"Thanks." Chan re-places the bottle to the space beside him, before gripping the sleeve of his hoodie, Chan starts to dry Minho's face. "You should feel better soon."

Minho hums back. He's lost in Chan's eyes that are staring at his lips.

Chan's oblivious to Minho's gaze as once he is done, he turns to have his back against the bench, and stares off into the garden.

"Thank-you." Minho hiccups as he speaks. He must have drunk too fast.

"It's okay." Chan chuckles. "Why don't you take a nap? You'll be okay." He carefully lowers Minho's head back onto his shoulder, stroking the males hair to sooth them.

"Okay." Minho doesn't resist as he closes his eyes.

Chan waits a few minutes before trying to move as little as he can when reaching into his pocket to pull out a packet of cigarettes—the lighter hidden inside.
