Behind the clouds, high in the sky, the sun could be seen shining through the fluffy-looking clouds, but the light didn't hit the grounders and sky people that could be seen on the ground like it did most days. Joining the sun in the sky, the birds were flying high up, paying no mind to what was happening right beneath them.

The occasional buzz of the insects that flew in the air, closer to the civilians and the ground could be heard as they flew past the humans ears every few minutes or seconds while the other insects hid in the tall grass like usual, making occasional chirps that could be heard every few seconds of every day that passed on the planet earth. The sound of chatters that turned into murmurs added to the sounds.

Beneath the ground and in the same place the dinner to celebrate the truce with the grounders and the sky people was still a mess that it had been left in after the grounders left and locked the sky people in before later on, taking Raven away to kill her.

The said girl could be seen pinned against a wooden pole, her wrists bound together by rope as her arms were raised, her hands above her head. Standing right across from her, Lexa's green eyes stared into her brown ones as she had a hand on the handle of her sword that was in her holster as she watched the Reyes girl shake in fear.

"I take no joy in this, Raven." Lexa begins. "But this time, justice will be done."

Raven sniffles. "I didn't do it. How is that justice?"

Instead of answering and still staring into her eyes, the commander raises her knife and presses it to the skin of the girl's arm before digging in, creating a large cut on her forearm, making the girl cry out in pain. Bellamy went to step forward, claiming they had to do something but Kane held him back.

As Indra stepped forward and lifted Raven's shirt up, revealing her stomach and digging her knife in just like Lexa had done, causing the Reyes girl to scream in pain, Abby and Clarke found themselves glancing at each other, remembering Y/n was in this situation just hours ago.

"Lincoln, talk to them. These are your people." Octavia states, looking to her lover.

"Not anymore." Lincoln replies, stepping towards Nyko.

"You're no longer safe here, my friend. I'll do my best to make sure you get away." Nyko assures in a whisper. "Then you'll be on your own."

Meanwhile, back down beneath the ground where the messy room she had been locked in for about an hour or so, Y/n was leaning against the wall at the bottom of the stairs, Raven's screams filling her ears. She couldn't go up. She couldn't watch another one of her friends die. She couldn't lose Raven. The sound of her mother's voice added to Raven's screams as the older woman ushered her, telling her they had to leave.
