Juliette starts lowering the tone of her voice by seeing how her children fall asleep. The blonde girl, by seeing that they're already asleep, stops singing to turn the light off and tries to stand up from the bed until hearing her daughter's voice.
-Mom... - Juliette looks at her little daughter immediately who stares at her.
-What is it, my darling? - Juliette whispers, rubbing her son's brunette hair which has some silver-brown strands
-Did uncle Jasper and aunt Alice go away because we're going to die? - Juliette feels a pain in the chest by seeing the innocence on her daughter's face.
-No, princess. T-They went away to protect us. - She explains without being completely sure - I won't allow something to happen to you or your father.
Juliette leans down to leave a small kiss on her daughter's forehead who approaches her mother to hug her. Juliette keeps rubbing her daughter's hair at the same time that sings a lullaby.
After leaving the little ones asleep, Juliette exits the room in complete silence and trying not to make much noise. She walks towards the living room to sit in front of the fireplace while taking the note that Alice and Jasper left before going away.
Juliette starts reading the note one more time while hearing how her husband approaches her. Edward sits beside her, taking her hand delicately.
-It feels really strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank... Mentally, I'm drained. - Juliette admits, leaving a note on the table and closing her eyes for a moment to clear her thoughs
-How about a bath? - Edward asks with half a smile
Juliette opens her eyes and looks at her husband with a mocking smile. The blonde girl leans to leave a small kiss on his lips who smiles enchanted. Edward stops taking her hand to slide it over her chest delicately until getting to the upper part of her blouse. Juliette smiles by understanding her husband's intentions.
-I remember very well how to undress myself. - She whispers amused
-Yeah, but I do it much better. - They both smile and approach each other to kiss their lips shortly.
Juliette looks back at the table and takes the note, starting to read it again.
-Juliette... - The mentioned one looks back at her husband immediately - I had the bad habit of underestimating you. Every obstacle you faced before meeting me and after doing it... I thought you couldn't overcome it but you did. Because of you, everyone's willing to fight. Because of you... we have a wonderful family.
Juliette smiles tenderly and approaches her husband to kiss his lips lovingly. Edward returns the kiss gladly until separating from her delicately.
