Rory's POV -
Adrienne arrived at 3:45 as she said. It's the first time I'd ever had her inside the house. The first time I'd had a friend round in a long time. We go straight up to my room and she walks to my drawers. She starts pulling out T-shirts and trousers.
"That Edward's jacket?" she asked.
"Yeah. He lent it to me yesterday and I haven't given it back."
"Looks good on you." She hands me a Foo Fighters t-shirt and black trousers.
"Put these on." I leave and come back in the clothes. "Nice."
"There we go. Do we have to do anymore?"
"Yes! It's your first date. Put this t-shirt on." Six outfits later, I'm dressed in a dark green t-shirt, black ripped jeans, black converse and black leather jacket. It took Addy half an hour to find this.
"Now hair."
"I think this is fine..."
"I will be the judge of that. I brought hair gel."
After styling my hair in multiple different ways, she washes it all out and says it was fine the way it was. She blowdrys it and styles it without gel. And it looks fine. Like it did 15 minutes ago. With that, we sit on the bed. She spots a photo of Amy and I on the table.
"That Amy?"
"Yeah."
"She looks nice. You guys look happy together."
"We were. She'd always be there. She still is. In here." I point to my heart. And she hugs me.
"So. What movie are you going to watch?"
"Death on the Nile."
"With Gal Gadot! She's so hot. And cool."
"Yeah. Not quite my type though." We laugh and continue talking about little things, until at 5, we hear a scream of joy from below. Addy hisses in pain.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, just had a bad head ache this morning. It's not to bad now, but this is making it worse."

Seconds later, we hear the doorbell and I race downstairs. On my way, I see Isabella all dressed up as well, with enough perfume to kill a small cat. Dad opens the door, although I'm not sure when he got home. And there stands my date. Edward Cullen.
"Hello Mr Swan, I'm Edward." He hold out a hand and Dad shakes it.
"So I hear. It's good to meet you."
"Good to meet you too."
"Be good to my son. He deserves it."
"I know sir. He deserves a lot. And I want to give him that."
"That's good to know. And just know that if you hurt him, my badge will go out the window and I will hurt you. Do you understand?"
"Yes, sir." Dad smiles.
"Good. Now take Rory and go on an amazing movie date."
He moves out of the way and I walk out the house. Edward holds my hand and we walk to the door. He opens the passenger side for me, and closes it when I get in. Ever the gentleman.
