That was quite a scene beautiful enough to be clicked and stored as a sweet memory for years.
It seemed filmy enough to make Preeti gasp in surprise- she was in middle of two exes bumping into each other quite literally.
On her right, were Swati and Munna staring in each other's eyes with almost expressionless faces.
On her left, were Sameer and Naina with a no different situation going on- they were gazing at each other with mouths opened in shock. Both of their eyes reflected loneliness, pain- a similar kind of pain- pain of losing someone whom you loved immensely.
Both the couples seemed to utter nothing. However, that was thrilling enough to make the person in between whistle.
Preeti whistled and that broke the dream like trance the couples were in.
The first one to notice their surroundings was Munna and for an instance, he thought of dropping the beauty that hung on to him. But, he made her stand beside him.
Naina noticed their situation and gasped once before standing straight.
Sameer was still in his bubble. He was unaware of the happenings. It was as if his mind was in a deep slumber and he was acting his heart out.
That is why, he was just staring at his lady, and once she stood up, he extended his hand towards her, waiting for her to pick him up.
This situation was not unfamiliar as well. This was not the first time Sameer Maheshwari offered his hand to Naina Agrawal. That day and this day, she wanted to pick him up so bad. From the ground of loneliness to a sky of togetherness. However, that day and this day, she was bound to her limits.
Limits set by someone else, who did not knew the depth of her love for her love bounded her. Her heart felt like absolutely ignoring the nonsense of the society's rules. However, her brain knew the nonsense would let her live lifelessly and ignoring it would let her lifelessly live. Her brain knew that there was no possibility.
Breaking two hearts, she never extended her hand, left him lying to suffer.
Pandit, who was left in the court, came from behind and only saw his friend lying on the ground. Hence, he picked him up.
For now, after experiencing every emotion possible, without saying anything with awkwardness, both the groups headed opposite ways with their backs towards each other.
