After the news of war spread, the commoners started to feel restless. The last war happened when the late emperor was alive and Manik was still a kid. The commoners even knew who the enemies were. The cruelty of King Riharsh was not something of a common topic. That man was infamous for his torture over both men and women. Now that there's a situation about a war, though the commoners have faith in their Emperor, they still couldn't help but feel restless. The anxiousness was not only looming over the commoners heart but even in the palace too.

After the news Chityakanta couldn't stay still. She was so restless that she could hardly breath normally. Besides, the matter of East Peria is a sensitive case. This case started when her husband was still alive. At that time somehow it was closed down but she knew for a revangfull person like Riharsh will never stay still. All these years being silent was also a great blessing.

"What is Manik thinking?" She mumbled  to herself.

"Mother?"

Chityakanta turned to see Maya standing in the room. Her eyes softened as she looked at her daughter "Maya, dear come here"

Maya walked towards her and sit down beside Chityakanta  "mother, what's happening around? Why is East Peria trying to declare war?"

Looking at her worried face Chityakanta couldn't help but sigh. She don't know how to comfort her daughter. She was already pregnant and in any time she could undergo birth labor. Though Chityakanta wanted to tell her and discuss but she knew Maya's situation is not right to do such thing. So she smiled and held Maya's hand.

"Don't worry about it. Your brothers are there to handle such things. You just need to take care yourself"

Maya shook her head "mother don't try to conceal this matter from me. It's just after so many years the palace of Samrat is lightened with happiness and peace but it looks like God couldn't see our happiness"

Chityakanta lightly patted her hand before smiling "your girl, God is not the one who is doing such a thing. All the people under him are his children and he loves his children a lot" she sighed "it's that some of the people are not clearly directed towards the right path so they lost and couldn't find the sanity and humanity that God has blessed them"

"Mother I am scared" Maya's hold tightened "my child is about to see the world. Will he see the blood when he is born?"

Her question startled Chityakanta. She never thought Maya would ask something like this. For a moment she lost the ability to think of a proper answer. But she could not blame it on Maya. She was pregnant and no mother would wish for her child to be born in such a critical situation where the scenery of blood welcomed the newborn. She couldn't form any words to reply and Chityakanta felt her tongue being tied tightly.

"No" a voice from behind replied to Maya's questions. Both ladies turned their heads towards the source and found two males standing there.

"Brother" Maya whispered.

Manik smiled as he walked forward while Vaibhav followed closely. Manik stopped before Maya and squatted down before her and he smiled warmly in an assuring manner.

"Why are you worrying yourself so much?" He asked softly before placing his hand over her huge belly "my nephew will be scared if his mother is this anxious. Do you want him to be born with an anxious filled heart or want him to be born with a strong will?"

Maya's gaze traveled towards her stomach. She wanted her son to become strong and imposing like her brother and husband who can face anything and fight. Hearing Manik's words she started to feel her brother was right. Chityakanta always told her that in this period mother's action and emotion will have great effects on the child inside her womb. And no matter what she doesn't want her son to become a coward. At that moment her mind is fixed and determined. She looked at Manik and nodded her head.
