The muffled screams she held back were cutting her throat, tearing the inside and yet never showing the outside, choking  on her own blood, never reaching the end of where everything goes back go normal.

Permanently feeling trapped with nobody near to help her, something she feared for a while now. She felt like it was normal to be this way, a girl who never saw the light of day, being nothing but shunned for half of her life, especially now more than ever. A knife was cutting deep, and she let it, letting her parents attack her than her brothers, sacrificing herself as the heiress, knowing how she was a mistake to begin with.

The screams grew louder for nobody to hear knowing having a daughter as a Pureblood was a mistake, trying to have many heirs to keep the Black name pure. Nora Black started to feel  herself sink more and more to know how much of a disappointment she was, regardless of how much she tried to prove she wasn't, only being farther from her parents expectations. It didn't help any one when she realized love is temporary when you aren't blessed into a house that wasn't silver and green, going to be on the enemies team; Gryffindor.

She felt the world go quiet when she saw her brothers face drop and crumble only a million pieces, staring blank at his sister and wondering what went wrong? Their whole life they've been told they would make exceptional Slytherins, and now life decided to give her another punch, wondering why things can't go their ways.

Although it's been five years since the situation, she cannot understand why he did what he did, not try to argue with the hat— telling him Gryffindor isn't what they're parents wanted, because it was always up to the parents.

She felt like there was nobody she could trust but herself at age 14, noticing the way she never got off the right foot with people, staying in the shadows and acting like a ghost so nobody would want to talk to her, letting her actions speak louder than words; however James Potter saw right through her, he saw a girl who looked like she needed a friend, letting her know the world isn't as scary when you're out on your own.

A boy she's hated since they were 11 became a sense of reality for her, watching a girl who's been in nothing but pain, finally seeing the world be more than dull colours and a healing heart. James Potter saw the way Nora hated everyone and everything, staying out of the way, becoming the quiet sister who tried to paid little or no attention to anyones lives except her brothers.

Unfortunately, James was in her brothers life, more than her if you will, hating him even more than usual. She didn't know if it was hate, realizing she would be seeing him more and more but the time she was 15, meaning James potter wasn't going anywhere.
