Harper woke up early, her excitement bubbling as she pulled on a white lace cardigan over a tank top tucked into brown printed shorts. She paired the outfit with an owl necklace and boots, ready to spend another day at the Davenport mansion.

Her legs had become stronger after numerous visits, with the constant running up and down stairs and navigating the sprawling mansion - she didn't mind at all. It made her feel a bit more capable each time.

The day's plan was simple enough - Tasha had convinced Mr. Davenport to take a short vacation, leaving the teenagers in charge for a few days. Harper couldn't wait to see what chaos would unfold in his absence.

She made her way to Leo's house, walking down the long driveway and knocked on the door with a sense of purpose.

Leo opened the door, blinking in surprise. "Hey, Harper. What brings you here?"

"Good morning to you too, Leo." Harper greeted, smiling brightly. "I'm here to help, as usual."

"Don't worry, I know the rules- no touchy-touchy Davenport's stuffy-stuffy. It's time to prove I'm responsible."

"I still know you."

"Yeah, you're right." Leo admitted, stepping aside to let her in.

Harper smirked. "I'm always right."

"You're starting to sound like Chase." Leo commented, glancing at her.

"Don't start." Harper warned, giving him a playful glare.

She hung her bag on the coat rack, and together, they headed toward the elevator. The doors closed and they descended into the lab. Leo whistled in excitement and Harper smiled, enjoying the familiar rhythm of their interactions.

When they stepped out of the elevator, Leo pressed the button to open the Lab doors.

"Good morning-ah!" Leo exclaimed.

Harper's eyes widened at the chaotic scene before her. The Lab was a complete mess - papers were scattered all over the floor, chairs were overturned and Adam was lounging in an inflatable boat, looking content. Meanwhile, Chase, looking a little disoriented, was fumbling around the cyber desk.

"It hasn't even been twenty-four hours since Mr. Davenport and Tasha left!" Harper shouted as she navigated her way through the mess.

"Leo? Harper?" Chase called out from across the room, his voice somewhat muddled. "Is that you?"

"What happened?! All I did was go to sleep!" Leo yelled.

"Something happened to my vision. I can only see pixels." Chase explained before stumbling over an object and falling to the ground. "I'm okay."

Adam waved cheerfully. "Buddies up what's."

"He sounds different." Leo stated, pointing at him.

Chase, still fumbling, managed to sit up and lean against the cyber desk "Yeah, that's cause he can only speak backwards. It was fun for about the first five minutes. Now I just wanna rip his head off."
