Lucía and Charles reunion had been everything but disappointing. The tennis player clung onto her boyfriend with the widest smile on her face as he wrapped his arms around her frame, lifting her up slightly off the group. She was sweaty but he didn't care, used to being drenched in sweat himself most weekends.
"You were amazing ma chérie," he complimented her, grinning widely. He was glad his surprise had gotten the reaction he had been hoping for. After this weekends race he knew he wanted to fly out to Miami if Lucía had gotten that far into the competition, inviting Pierre and his girlfriend Katerina had been a recently thought out plan.
"Quarter finals baby!" The Brit cheered, laughing as she swayed, putting a small gap between them both. Charles hands didn't drop from her waist however.
"Hi, I'm Lucía," She introduced herself to the two others behind Charles.
"Hey, the match was incredible. I'm Pierre." he lent forward so she could shake his hand in an informal way.
"I know," She said a little shyly.
"Charles has mentioned you're a big fan of F1." The French man chuckled.
