" So , whenever me and ayu needed to chill, we would go there and enjoy . But Poonam di was the eldest so she kept tabs on us. And meenu di used to save us all the time "
" Really ! Now that you have mentioned i want to travel states too ." She said dreamily
" You haven't been there yet ? "
" No , Never . I was going to but that didn't happen " Karan noticed her smile was nowhere to be seen now and she was upset. She looked as if she was remembering some bad memories
" You know my father was a trained singer and he was amazing.He trained me too.In fact he trained  pratik too , that's why he is also a very good singer .  And I had initially planned my career in singing. "
" really! You do sing perfectly laddoo. But i never knew this was a career option for you ? "
" It was . I had auditioned for a reality show in states . And everything was set. I was supposed to go there but - " She gulped the lump in her throat

" I realised this wasn't the best option to go for. My travelling and residence expense would have been incurred by the production. But what if i did get selected. How would have i managed Pra's school and tution fees there. For example if i would have even gone forward with singing , i would have to take a house there , at that time we weren't that settled . and in the  long term , i never saw myself earning enough to manage me and pratik. So i decided to stay back and go forward with my studies. " She explained and looked at him to see his eyes glistening with tears
" Sunny? "
  " I am sorry. I don't even know what you would have gone through. I love what i do and it was my passion , so i know the feeling when you follow your heart. But i am sorry you couldn't get to do that" He held her hand , squeezing it .
" It's okay sunny. I have accepted the truth . That's how life is right ? And i love what i do right now too " She smiled softly at him .How did she even get this man ?
" I promise i am going to take you to states with me and make you visit all of the places you want . Yeah ? "
" yeah . I love you"She whispered and kissed his cheeks
"Me too " And hugged her close.

"Teju ,come na . Please don't be a spoilsport. " He gestures her to come out of the car but she remained there only.
" Arrey baba , come na kuch nahi hoga "
He walked closer and went to stand at the door of her side.
" No sunny Please. We are going to get wet , and then fall sick . I don't want that " She shook her head with a mortified expresion
" Ae chal oye ." He said and opened the door " Zyada nakhre mat dikha " He held her hand and pulled her
" Aahh ... Sunny please no. I hate rains " She squealed  and kept pulling back but he stubbornly brought her in the rain . She glared at him and hit him on the shoulder as rain drowned her .
" No one can hate rain laddoo " He shouted and she squealed as he twirled her around .
" Abhi kal dekhiyo kaise sore throat aur behti hui naak leke ghumega tu " She said cutely and he ked her to a tea stall in the corner. They sat in the shed as they waited for their teas .
" You know , why don't you just try and continue with your singing career now ? " He asked her seriosuly and she looked baffled at him
" What ? It's too late now Karan ."
" teju it's never too late. You can still try and even if it doesn't work out you'll have a steady income with you from the firm"

" Laddoo I am not forcing you . I am just letting you know you can . You can still achieve your dreams. Rest is ofcourse your choice , just think about it okay ? "

"Why the fuck is my phone ringing continuosly Rohit ? . " She shouted as her meeting ended
" Didn't i tell you to manage calls ? "

" Can you speak faster we don't have the whole day . " She shouted rudely and he got scared .
" Sorry .. Sorry Ma'am, you should check the news once "She dismissed him and opened her phone . Her face paled a little seeing Karan and his ex- girlfriend's picture . They were in a cafe and someone had captured them discreetly.

She threw the phone on the couch and sat there angrily. Ofcourse  she was angry . Not that she doubted him. She knew there must be some reason that he went to meet her , but couldn't he just tell her . He had told her  he was going to a meeting for a new show. Was this his new show ?
He lied and she hated liars .
She had seen enough people in her life who lied to her and she couldn't tolerate one more.
