There were screams throughout the house in a small village, a 25 year old woman was giving birth a her last child, yes she was pregnant was triplets and she already gave birth to one of her kids
Her husband name Pedro Madrigal was standing next to her, holding her hand as she pushed out their third child
Lady: almost there Mrs. Madrigal, just one more push and the baby is almost here (says as the new mother pushed for the last time and soon the house was filled with baby cries)
Pedro: you did it Alma (says as he holds his daughter)
Lady: now one more baby and your finally done (says as Alma nods she took a deep breath before starting to push again)
For the past 20 mins Alma was done, the nurse lady held the baby up, cleaning him before handing the baby boy to his parents, they smiled at him as he was sleeping in Alma's arms.
Alma: he's prefect (says smiling)
Pedro: yes he sure is (says looking at his only son)
Alma: what should we name them (ask grabbing their daughters and holding them as they were sleeping)
Pedro: well that one with the orange hair her name could be Pepa (says and Alma smiled)
Alma: and the other girl could be name julieta (says)
Pedro: and our son (ask)
Alma: Bruno (says)
Pedro: Pepa, julieta and Bruno Madrigal (says) I love it, has a ring to it
Alma: their perfect (says smiling but stop to feel pain again)
Pedro: Alma are you ok (asked worried)
Lady: she's having another baby (says and gets ready for Alma to push)
Alma: I thought it was only three (says and looks at the nurse)
Pedro: I guess it's one more (says as Alma screamed)
Lady: come on just a few more tries and it'll be over this time (says)
Alma:(screams out some more) this hurts way worser then before (says pushing again)
Alma pushed one more time and before you know it, another baby was crying, the nurse looked at her before cleaning her up and cut the cord, she handed her to her parents
Lady: it's a baby girl (says and show them)
Alma:(smiles) she is so beautiful
Pedro: she looks exactly like you except she has my mothers eyes (says) just like Pepa
Alma: they are going to be so spoiled (says smiling, the new family was enjoying the new members of the family they were happy but then they heard a big loud boom they looked outside the window to see mens on their horses burning down houses and killing people left and right)
Lady: oh my god we gotta go (says and stands up and getting everything packed)
Pedro: Alma are you sure you could run or walk (ask, worried for his wife)
Alma: of course I can, sure I'll be a little slow but I'll manage (says standing up, picking up their kids) come on we have to get them out of here
The new family started getting some of their things before taking off running into the woods they managed to get some families to follow them
Pedro: come on we're getting closer (says guiding his family first)
They soon heard horses coming towards them. They saw the men's holding guns going after them, the people started running away, Alma and Pedro started running then Pedro thought of something
Alma: Pedro (says and looks at him)
Pedro: I'll try and hold them off so you guys can run (says)
Alma what no (says and starts crying) no I can't lose you....the kids will need you
Pedro: and I want to be there but I must get you and the kids to safety first (says) I love you (he kissed his babies on the head before running off)
Alma heard a gunshot and saw her husband fall. She screamed out crying before falling to the ground. Her candle soon burn brighter and next thing you knew, the woods were covering up the river.
Alma raised up the candle before looking at everyone else who made it to safety. They soon saw a bright light and houses were being made, Alma walked up to a house that was waiting for her and saw it moved, it was alive
The house waved at her and she waved back. She went inside to see rooms already prepared she looked at the picture of her husband crying before looking at her kids who were sleeping
She put her babies in their own crib and was about to put her youngest child when she knows she wasn't breathing
Alma: no no no I just lost your father I can't lose you too (says and start running out the door with her baby before yelling for help)
Some people heard her screams and ran outside to see her running with a baby they ran to her
Man: are you alright miss (ask)
Alma: it's my daughter, she's not breathing (says crying as they took the baby from her)
One of the ladies did something Alma didn't know what she did but next thing she knew she saw her child breathing again.
Alma: oh thank you...thank you (says and hugs her daughter)
Lady: your welcome (says)
After that happened Alma went back home to check on her kids to see they were peacefully sleeping she laid her daughter in her crib and she realize something, her and Pedro never got to name her before the attack
Alma: oh little one we should give you a name (says as the baby slept peacefully) how about Mia, Mia Madrigal
Alma smiled when she saw Mia turning around, she kissed her baby on her head before walking away, Alma changed into some clothes before laying down in her bed, this will be the first time she goes to sleep without her husband Pedro and it hurts why did he have to sacrifice himself when he had a family who needed him
Alma shed a tear before going to bed hoping this nightmare will be over and she can move on with her kids now
