Only Time Will Tell

💕Dougie's surprise for Kamala 💕

I would like to thank KamalalovezDoug 4 her help with writing this

~Doug goes out of their room, and closes the door, so Kamala can take a nap and he goes back into the kitchen, where Meena, Maya and Shamalya are~

Doug- "Shamalya, Kam said to tell you thank you for lunch, she's sound asleep, she's exhausted, Kamryn is sleeping in her bassinet, in our room, she knows I'm up to something, but she doesn't know what, her exact words were Dougie, I know your up to something, but I'm too tired to try and figure out what. I have the monitor turned off, out here, so she can't hear us, and I closed our bedroom door" 

Meena- "Amara is sound asleep on her couch, and Leela is in the pack n play, Doug if you want you can go and take a nap with Auntie, I know you have to be exhausted as well"

Doug- "I am"

Shamalya- "Doug go and take a nap you need sleep as well, and you helped with putting all of the furniture together, and what is that gift bag that is in Kamala's recliner"

Doug- "its a present for Kam, that I got her, its a push present"

Shamalya- "what is a push present"?

Doug- "A push present is a present that I got her to celebrate Kamryn's birth"

Maya- "okay, lunch and dinner is all made and its in the fridge"

Doug- "I know she doesn't feel like cooking, she doesn't feel like doing much of anything yet, I'm going to go and take a nap with Kam, I'm exhausted"

Doug leaves and goes into his and Kamala's room and gets into bed and she cuddles up next to him.

~In the family room~ 2:15 pm

Meena- "Mommy, did you find out who put the 'it's a girl sign on the lawn"

Maya- "no I called Jen to ask her and she said it wasn't her, she was thinking about going in on one with us but when she went to order it was already there when she went to order it, I wonder if from Jill and Joe or from Mike and Barb"

Meena- "could be should we call them and ask"

Maya- "I'm going to call Jill and ask her, if you want to call Mike and Barb and ask them"

Meena- "okay I will call Barb and Mike, and you call Jill Mom"

Maya calls Jill on her cell

~At Kamala and Doug's work~

Jill is in Jen's office when her phone rings, and Jill answers it.

Maya- "Hey Jill, we are trying to figure out who put the 'It's a girl sign on the lawn, when I brought Kamala, Doug, and Kamryn home a few hours ago, was it from you and Joe"?

Jill- "yes it's from me, Jen, and Joe,  we wanted to surprise everyone, as soon as you called me and told me that Kamryn was here, I had already made the sign, Jen and I came over and put it on the lawn, because I wasn't sure when Kamala was going to come home and I wanted her to see it when she got home, was she surprised"

Maya- "yes she was, I won't tell her that I know who it is that put the sign on the lawn, I will let you tell her, I thought it was either you or Jen who did it"

Jill- "okay, when can I come and see her, I know how I felt after Ashley was born, it took me a few days until I even wanted to do anything especially have company"

Maya- "I would say call her and ask her, because that is something I can't answer"

Jill- "okay, I will call her either later today or tomorrow, and see when Joe and I can come over to meet Kamryn"
