a large group of faunus, who hailed from mistral, landed at the Haneda airport to begin a new life outside from their former home, most of them felt a kind of kinship to the asian countries due to the fact that they have similar cultures and traditions mistral has
they were the first faunus immigrants to live in Japan, the homeland of anime. at first they expected to be outcasted and jeered by the japanese, but they were surprised that they were, instead, greeted and welcomed by the japanese people, mostly teenagers becuase they might've watched a lot of anime and read a lot of manga
the faunus immigrants saw words on a banner that they couldn't understand, but an English word below translated the words for them enought to know what it meant
''welcome to Japan''
as they walked through the crowds, they can't help but ti greet them back and for the first time in their lives, they felt respected, welcomed and most important of all....equal

in the streets of the port of Le Havre, faunus immigrants from atlas and mistral were met by the french, who cheered upon their arrival
french citizen: (french translation) welcome to france, new people.
the immigranst never thought they would be welcomed with such frendliness from the people of france. people waved cheerfully as confetti was blown up in the air. behind the crowd was a CNN newscaster standing in front of a cameraman with the cheering crowd and newcomers in the background
CNN Reporter: as we can see here, the crowd of Le Havre are cheering for the newcomers from Atlas and Mistral in France.....

CNN reporter: ...due to this, the people that came here want to learn the languages, cultures, and histories of our homes and to see how the systems work here.
inside one of the local bars in Vale, the customers and the barkeep himself watched the foreign new channel, CNN. there had been scenes and photographs on the holo-screens showing the terrans interacting with the faunus, peacefully
but this...this made some of the customers glaring angrily at the news, though most had a face of disbelief and some just ignored it
customer 1: heh, look at those idiots out there..
customer 2: interacting peacefully with those animals, it's just disgusting, nothing but a joke.
customer 3: those damn faunus can't get that kind of treatment.
he cursed with venom in his voice
female customer 1: why the hell can't those people see who those freaks really are!!!!!???? some of them might be in league with the white fang.
female customer 2: guys, don't you realize? they're clueless about them. most of them haven't even met one in person.
the customers, male and female, began to agree. yet the barkeep, who was using a rag to clean out a beer mug he's holding, felt a menacing feeling in the air as he noticed the feeling that his customeers didn't like the faunus running around in their society
barkeep: (thinking) i don't like the sound of this. if this keeps going on, i don't know how the rest of the kingdoms will react on how the faunus are being treated. this isn't going to be good at all.
he thought as a single sweat bead rolled down his forehead

a lone AAVP-7A1 can be seen landing at the shore of menagerie as a guy in a suit, along with some australian marines exit the vehicle as the marines and suit-guy walk towards kuo kuana
during the UN expidition, australia and the U.S. have agreed to send in a representative to talk with the leader of menagerie, which is what a faunus immigrant told them where their homeland is located
as they were walking, a marine spotted something
marine 1: hold on, i hear something. be alert and protect the rep.
he ordered as they got their weapons out and pointed at the source, but were shocked at seeing a little girl with fox ears. the rep walked over and kneeled to the child and looked at her with a friendly smile
rep: hello there.
(yes, i know that's a star wars episode 3 reference, but i just had to use it, can't blame me)
he said in a friendly tone, the marines guarding him saw this and they too smile, realizing that they're not in a hostile area
???: who are you?
a marine says this to the faunus child
marine: simple, we're marines.
rep: not me, i'm just a representative.
???: what's a marine?
she asked curiously
marine: it's a type of soldier who defends the people he loves, home included.
female marine : now, what's your name?
???: Kila.
she says to them
female marine; nice to meet you, Kila. now where's your home.
she asked as yula points at the settlement in the distance
Kila: my mommy says don't talk to humans because they hurt us.
marine: what do you mean ''hurt you''?
rep: soldier, i'm pretty sure we'll find out once we arrive at our destination. many of the adults will have more answers for us.
the rep says as they head to kuo kuana
Meanwhile, two fox faunus's can be seen with a small search party at their home as chieftain Ghira Belladonna assists the two worrying parents
Ghira: we'll find your daughter, you don't need to worry.
he told the mother, but all of a sudden, they heard a voice at the entrance.
Kila: MOMMY!!!!!
she called out with a smile as the parents and other faunus's turn around and see the missing child...and 5 human. but in a swift motion, all faunus that were armed quickly pointed at the marines and rep as they raised their hands
Kila's mom: come to mommy Kila.
she says as Kila shooks her head and fox ears lower down
Kila: but mommy, my new friends want to talk.
she said as this quickly confused every faunus as they turn to the rep as he walks toward them
rep: we mean you no harm or have any ill intention, we wish to speak with your...leader.
he said as ghira walked up to him
Ghira: what do you wish to talk about?
he said in a stern tone as the screen went dark
