The yellow sun curves slowly west to east over the magnificent landscape.

"Bring It On Home To Me" By Sam Cooke plays softly.

Peter stands on a Veranda, gazing out at the beauty. His Walkman is connected to small, jerry-rigged speakers nearby.

Gamora stood a few feet away.

"So I guess this could all be mine someday," Peter says.

Gamora isn't paying attention. She's fooling with a communications device, which has no reception.

"Rocket? Rocket, you there?," She tries calling, but gets no reply, "Dammit."

Peter dances up behind her, placing his hands gently on her arms.

"What are you doing, Peter?," she asks dismissively.

"Dance with me," he says.

"I'm not going to dance with you."

"This is Sam Cooke, one of the greatest Earth singers of all time," Peter says as he yoinks the comms device from her and tosses it aside.

Gamora lets out an exasperated sigh, but, reluctantly, starts dancing with him. She is incredibly light on her feet.

Peter smiles and Gamora, despite herself, does as well.

He twirls her and brings her back in.

This is definitely not the first time they've done this.

"Drax thinks you're not a dancer," Peter mutters.

"If you ever tell anyone about this, I will kill you."

Peter smirks, "When are we going to do something about this... unspoken thing between us?"

"What unspoken thing?," Gamora asks.

"This 'Cheers-Sam-and-Diane-guy-andgirl-on-a-TV-show-who-dig-eachother-but-never-say-it-'cause-whenthey-do-the-ratings-would-go-down' sort of thing?"

"..There is no unspoken thing."

"Well, that's a Catch-22. Because if you said there was, it would bespoken, and then you'd be a liar. So by saying there isn't, you're telling the truth, and admitting there is."

"No, That's not what I've..," Gamora pulls away, "What we should be discussing right now is that something about this place doesn't feel right."

"What are you talking about? You were the one who wanted me to come here!," Peter exclaims as they move over to their room.

Gamora continues, "That girl, Mantis. She's afraid of something. And Y/N must feel something's off about this place too. He's been out somewhere around here."

Peter follows her.

He stops, staring at her, hurt and frustrated," Why are you trying to take this from me?"

"I'm not trying--"

"He's my father. He's blood."

"You have blood on earth. You never wanted to return there," Gamora says.

Peter retorts, "Again - you made me come here! And Earth?! Earth is the place my mother died in front of me."

"No, it's because that's real, and this is a fantasy."

"This is real. I'm only half human, remember?"

"That's the half I'm worried about," Gamora tells him.
