When I saw you yesterday,
we were smiling and laughing.
It was just us two,
with no one else in the room.
It felt like something was there.
I didn't feel so scared.
Then I saw you today,
and now things have changed.
Someone else caught your eye.
How I wish I could turn back time.
What's gonna happen now?
I had hope that things would work out.
But now I can't say how I feel,
might as well keep my lips sealed.
I'm happy for you, I really am,
but I can't help but be heartbroken.
I hope you go take those chances.
I'll be waiting on the sidelines, wishing for dances..
