Harry was laying in bed when a tapping at his window brought him out of his thoughts.

He sat up and opened the window to let an unfamiliar owl inside.

He took the letter tied to it's leg, and smiled once he saw who sent it.

Harry smiled after reading Y/n's letter again.

He wasn't lying when he said he had thought about framing it, it had quickly become one of his prized possessions.

Dear Scarface Pottyhead,

I hope your summer is going okay so far. I sent you this letter because I didn't know if your phone would be taken, or something else. So you get a letter from me. Yay. If the Dursley's do anything terrible to you, let me know and I'll come kidnap you and bring you home straight away. I can just tell my parents, "oh yes this is my ~friend~ Harry" :)  We can play board games, and hang out. It'd be great. I watched a really good movie the other night. Do your aunt and uncle have a TV? It doesn't matter, we can always have a movie night when we get back to school ;) I also baked THE most amazing cookies ever, which is pretty surprising because I'm shit at baking. I would've sent you some but... I ate them all. Another thing, I actually finished a book!! GO ME! Took me like- forever. But anyways, I hope you're alright. I understand if you can't respond to this letter, but I'll write you again if anything cool happens in my life.
