I want to hold your hand
but I know that I can't
Because I know you don't feel the same
and it breaks my heart everyday.
I wish I can stop feeling this way
so that I'm no longer in pain
But I always seem to fall in
love with those closest to me.
Maybe it'll get better with time
but I keep wishing that you're mine.
The urges to hold your hand
and tell you how I feel keep me awake
As I'm still afraid of ruining things.
