Please Sleep Baby

Age:1 month old

"Please sleep baby, please for mommy. " Lizzie said to her little new born it was 3am and Evelyn still hasn't slept, yet she had been trying to put her to sleep for what felt like hours.

Robbie was awake aswell saying it wouldn't be fair if he slept while she didn't.

"Maybe she's hungry" Robbie suggested.

"Maybe she is. " said Lizzie sitting on the bed and positioning the new born to feed her.

Lizzie pulled her night gown down and rubbed her nipple on her little crying babys lips and Evelyn latched on.

The only noise was the sucking of the little baby and that made Lizzie have difficulty staying awake.

"You can give her to me after you feed her and you can sleep. " robbie said with a whisper. "You haven't slept properly for a while."

"Is that okay though what will you do if she gets hungry? " Lizzie asked.

"You can pump your milk for now."

"It's fine I'll look after her for awhile and maybe there will be a miracle where this little girl of ours sleeps." Lizzie said with a soft smile.

After 30 minutes or so Lizzie made Ev latch off which caused alittle whine then switched her to the other side.

Robbie came closer to the 2 and Lizzie rested her head on Robbie's shoulder while they looked at the newborn peacefully drinking.

"She looks just like you." Robbie said with a smile.

It looked like Evelyn was done so Lizzie sat up and burped her and a few minutes later she slept Lizzie slowly put her daughter to the crib and went to sleep herself.
