I was sitting with dr.Casey and she nodded while writing a prescription for me Psychedelic aka magic mushrooms she didn't want to give me meds because the family history I have and scared it would be a genetic trait. But hey I wasn't mad about it. Taking shrooms should be interesting right?
I was walking out her office now and I saw Gio walking with Zay. They spotted me and walked over to me.
"Hey Keith" Zay said
"Hey Zoya" I said it's a thing me and Zay do for some reason.
I smiled at Gio.
"Hi my Gi" I said
"Hey mamas where you heading?" He asked me
"To a private pharmacy in town" I said
"To get your pills?" Gio asked was he referring to my birth control? I stopped taking those after we broke up.
"What? My birth control? No I stopped taking those when you broke up with me" I said
"Oh for what? Want me to come with you?" He asked me
"Um sure Gio you can come with me" I said
"Ight bet I'll catch you two weirdos later" Zay said and walked off.
"So private pharmacy what you getting girl?" He asked me
"Shrooms nosey" I said
"Aw Shit you fucking with that white people shit?" Gio asked me
I looked at him so confused he was white as they come.
"Gio your white literally white as ever" I said
"I know that but I don't do the shit they do" he said and he rolled his eyes.
"Aye don't be mad your white it's perfectly fine when your the cool type of white you know" I said
"Shut up Keilaya" he said laughing
We started to walk back to my apartment to get to my car and drive to the address. I got to my car and threw Gio the keys like we was back in the rhythm of things.
"I don't wanna drive mamas I'm tired" he whined.
"Fine,cry baby" he said
"Whatever go on" he said smiling
We got in the car and I started it up and started to drive. The ride was nice and peaceful it was a silence but not a bad one either.
"Keilaya I know this probably isn't the right time, or it's too late but I wanna say I am sorry for everything I really am, for what he did, for me taking his word over yours I really am sorry Keilaya and I live with that ever since it happened" Gio said
I looked at him and smiled and held his hand. "Gio I forgive you I'm not mad at anyone but Duke he is the one I'm pissed at because he got the best of us. Used it against each other. He knew you had trust issues with me and he knew I was too trust worthy of a person. So he fooled us both on each other but I was never mad at you" I said smiling
"That's good but you know if I never dumped you probably wouldn't had happened" Gio said
I laughed "yes it would, Duke was plotting on me since he saw me he was very determined so if we was together or not he was going to find a way but thank god you and Ermias came I never seen you so angry before" I said to Gio
"Yeah because well it's you I'm only angry when it comes to you" Gio said
"You making it seem like I bring the anger out in you Giovanni" I said teasing him.
"No not like that, I- you know what I meant I saw you in trouble and I needed to protect you" he said
"Yeah I know and you did thank god you came in because who knows how much worst it could of went" I said
We arrived at the pharmacy and it was cute and little, look hella suspicious.
Gio looked at me to make sure I really wanted to go there. I nodded my head and we got out the car and locked the doors and walked in.
Standing there was a little old lady she looked tired and strung out.
"Hi there I'm Moon how can I help you?" She asked
Moon? That was my grandma name and she kinda looked like auntie sky a bit. No way?
"Hi I'm here to pick up my prescription from Dr.Casey" I said
"Oh Dr.Casey that's my girl" she said she went into the back and a guy came out the back with a huge package was he about to open that in front of us.
"Hi is my wife moon helping you?" He asked me I looked and he looked just like my dad.
"Um yeah she is" I said
Moon came back out and gave me a jar full. Well Dr.Casey though I was crazy I see.
"Um your names would be moon and river butterfly would it?" I asked
"Who the hell are you?" The guy asked he look like he was pulling out a gun. Gio took my hand and stood in front of me as we backed up.
"I think your my grandparents?" I said
"Little girl get out of here and don't ever come back!" Moon yelled.
"But- my dad is comet" I said
"Get out!" He yelled and shot at us Gio and I took flight and jumped right into the car
I called my dad quick.
"Daddy?!" I yelled
"Keilaya what the fuck! What happened?!" He yelled
"Your parents are alive daddy! They work at a pharmacy near the school daddy they're alive!" I yelled I didn't hear anything
"Okay Keilaya baby don't tell your aunts okay this stays between me and you don't tell mommy either" he said
"Okay daddy but why not?" I said
"Can't say over the phone alright love you baby" he said
"Love you too daddy" I said
I hung up "what he going to do?" Gio asked me
"I don't know but hey thanks for coming my grandparents are alive, you think they'll wanna meet me?" I asked Gio smiling
"Keilaya they shot at us I don't think so" Gio said
"Shh crazy" I said smiling
