It has been a while since the trial with Samuel and while it was an impactful moment in both Liam and Isabella's life they were proud to say it was a moment that let them move forward in life.
After the trial was over Isabella was able to get her money back and not only that but she had been the one to pass down the information to her grandparents.
Of course they were still parents and they had felt awful that their son would have to face quite a sentence but they still knew he had to pay for what he had done.
With Liam he had finally received closure, one that he had been waiting to find for a long time and while he may have wanted to find his father he couldn't have been happier than finding his sister and a new family.
After a little while of relaxing after the case Isabella went right back into getting her school work that she missed done and most importantly got back to planning her and Joshua's wedding.
The two have finally decided on a day though they haven't really announced it to anyone wanting to have the venue set before letting anyone know.
While everyone was back at the penthouse Isabella had taken Nathaniel over to her mother's place dragging her best friend with her as well, figuring she didn't have much to do that day.
"Oh stop crying, you can handle it." Isabella rolled her eyes at the conversation she was having on the phone with a specific Matthews' brother while Katy took Nathaniel in her arms. "You've been doing this for years."
"I haven't done high school for years!" Cory complained over the phone as he stood in the corner looking over to his class with a nervous grin. "They like you. I need some comedic moments here you know."
"Just tell them about your life that's comedic enough." Isabella shrugged not missing a beat having her best friend who sat beside her cough trying to hide her chuckle though she really didn't have to with Nathaniel giggling at her actions.
"I never know why I call you to make me feel better." Cory dropped his shoulders after hearing the raven haired girl's comment though he didn't really know why he expected any less already knowing her.
"Whose mistake was that?" Isabella raised her eyebrow as she set her laptop down on the counter though she had to admit she wanted to laugh herself knowing how Cory must have reacted. "But here's a tip for you, though, you're a teacher and they like you. It's not going to be much to handle."
"Wow, we're actually having a nice moment right now." Cory commented after getting a bit more confidence in teaching his class even though Isabella was there. "I don't like it that much."
"Agreed we'll go back to bickering later." Isabella nodded her head knowing that both her and Cory know they care about each other like siblings do but with them the relationship is better when bickering is involved.
