A Ride to Remember

"Pah, Peh, knock it off and let em' go. Don't start fights with the Commander's guests."

All of you turn your attention to the voice and you feel a wave of relief wash over you as you see a familiar face. For the second time that night, the boy previously introduced as Mitsuya comes to your rescue.

He really is a nice guy after all!

"We're supposed to drop the whole thing about Kiyomasa using Toman's name to hold his own little fight club," Mitsuya explains.

The boy holding Takemichi lets him go, and he's free to stand once again, but you on the other hand were still in the clutches of the Third Division Captain.

"Huh? I ain't know nothing about that shit because I'm fucking dumb," the Captain holding you says.

"Pah-Chin has the minimum number of brain cells to function, so you need to explain it simpler!" The guy who you assumed was Peh says to Mitsuya.

"Exactly!" Pah agrees.

WHAT IS GOING ON??

"Pah! Shut up and leave the Commander's guests alone," Draken speaks up.

Without hesitation, you're let go but with the least amount of delicacy. You're roughly let down on your feet and shoved into Takemichi. You stumble backward and he manages to catch you while also managing to keep himself upright. The Third Division Captain huffs annoyed and walks away.

"Sorry Draken!" Peh says with a bow, and he turns and walks away with his Captain.

"I've never felt more welcomed," you whisper to Takemichi. He helps you stand up straight, and you wince at the stinging pain in your abdomen. The Captain may have claimed to be stupid, but good lord did he make up for it in brute strength. You hold your stomach and fight through the pain.

"You okay?" Takemichi asks, concerned by your reaction.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Shin," Draken calls you. You look up and he sighs. "Don't hold it against him. Pah is pretty off pissed right now."

You nod but you can't help but still feel a little bitter. Who attacks someone they don't know based on how their feeling at the moment?

Draken turns back to the crowd and he takes a large breath. "Everyone, gather around! We're starting the meeting!" He yells.

"That guy... he was sorta out of control huh?" Takemichi says to you quietly.

"That guy and the word 'control' should not even be used in the same sentence together."

"Shinichiro, right?" Mitsuya says from behind you. You turn around and see him with an extended arm. You take his hand and shake it.

"Yeah, that's me."

"The name is Mitsuya, I've already met your friend Takemitchy," he introduces himself. Before you could respond, he continues talking. "Draken is right. Pah isn't usually like that. His bud got into it with Moebius. That's what ignited this conflict."

Moebius. Is that the gang that they're going to fight on August 3rd?

"What happened?" Takemichi asks.

"Moebius's leader, a guy named Osanai, got into it with his friend over some stupid bullshit. Pah's friend got the crap beaten out of him, then they all violated his girlfriend right in front of him. To top it all off, they took all of his money and beat up his parents and siblings later..."
