Chapter 2-6: "It's just begun..."

Where are we in present time right now? What's happening at this exact moment? How many days has passed since y/n has recalled these days? These old memories? These moments...? Who else recalled these moments besides her...? What happened, and why was recalling all of this so important?"

Y/n had already went back home, she let Korra know she was, she found all the evidence she needed but Lin said that the evidence she had was vague and it wasn't enough to go arrest him. So y/n just stayed in Republic City with Lin, and then they found out Korra started and all out war, and while y/n was helping overseas criminals into the truck. While y/n was doing so she was muttering at Lin. "I told you my evidence was right." Y/n muttered as Lin shook her head. "You didn't tell me anything." Lin says as y/n groans. Then they spot the team avatar minus y/n coming out of a ship. Y/n and Lin walked to the ship leaving the other officers there. "Welcome home avatar." Lin says sarcastically pausing. "Thanks for started a war! We love the effort there." Y/n says being a tad biased from how mad she was at Korra. "I didn't start a war! Well.. I did, But its more complicated than our making it seem." Korra says defensively. Y/n let out a sassy 'Mhm' in return. Lin knocked y/n's head causing her to quietly yelp and the group completely disregarded the fact that it happened.

"Mako, I want you back on the beat. There's going to e a Sothern Water Tribes peace march tonight, I need you to make sure things don't get out of hand." Lin says with a pause. "You'll be accompanied with y/n." Lin says as y/n snaps her neck towards Lin giving her the. 'This bitch!' look before turning her head to Mako with a fake smile. "Alright." Mako says. "Ill go too, The people of the south need to see that the Avatar is on their side in the fight against the Northern invaders." Korra says as y/n literally didn't even try to hide it, she didn't want Korra going it would be even more awkward, she started storming away as Lin looked at her along with everyone else y/n continued to walk but then Lin earthbent her foot to the ground so she couldn't completely walk away. "Great, That should calm them down." Lin says again sarcastically replying to Korra while walking away.

"Y/n stop being a baby." Lin says as y/n grumbled. If your wondering why y/n didn't just earthbend out the rocks Lin put on her legs, it because they have this little policy with each other so when they stop eachother from walking away, their not allowed to move, it makes incoming arguments much easier to manage. "Y/n..." Lin says as y/n looks at her with an obviously mad expression, suppressing the hidden tears in her eyes from spilling. Spoiler alert when y/n gets mad she starts to cry, why? Because I do, so you guys will too. "Come on, Dont look at me like that!" Lin says as y/n turns her head to the side. "Alright if we're gonna talk lets go somewhere, not in the open." Lin says as y/n rolls her eyes taking y/n to her office. "Alright go ahead, I'm listening." Lin says as y/n starts to speak. "Why would you partner me with Mako??" Y/n says as Lin nods her head. "Go ahead, keep speaking, im listening." Lin says she knew y/n still had stuff to say, she wanted y/n to know she can speak her point and not have someone cut her off.

"I'm not really mad because of that... I just don't wanna be there with Korra and Mako, I don't like them, they make me mad, and they make me feel like I'm back to living with Tenzin, Not caring for m opinion." Y/n says as Lin nods. "And I feel like they'll leave me alone and i'll have no-one to talk to." Y/n finishes off. "I'm done now." Y/n mutters as Lin smiles at her. "I partnered you with Mako because I wanted you to be in charge if something goes haywire, I had no idea Korra would join in, im sorry i caused you to panick." Lin says sitting on the couch next to /n placing her hand on y/n's head placing her head on her lap. "Go ahead and cry, I know you want to." Lin says as y/ snuggles her head into Lin's stomach. "Thank you..." Y/n muttered. "Love you mom." Y/n finished as Lin could feel y/n's tears streaming down her face as she played with her hair. Y/n continued to cry for about 5 minutes until she felt y/n fall limp, it was obvious she fell asleep.

Lin Let her say there a little longer lifting her head off her lap so she could do some work. Lin smiled softly before getting to her work, answering phone calls, ordering officers. And every time one would walk into her office, she would first shush them and make them whisper. For example.

"Cheif!" He said walking in as Lin glared at him, pointing towards y/n as he looked to see y/n snuggled into the couch. "What is it?" Lin asked as he handed her his paperwork. "Thank you, you're dismissed now." Lin said as he nodded. He expected her to skim through it and yell at him for his lazy pieces of work, but she didn't, because y/n was in there. When he walked out, he started telling everyone hurry up with their work because y/n was sleeping in Lin office so she wouldn't yell if their worked seemed lazy, hearing that, Everyone started rushing their paperwork. Yet, Lin would have y/n check later, and we all know, y/n would not go easy on them, she a tad bit of a perfectionist so whatever she told Lin, they would get an earful of later.

I'm sorry for the cliff hanger! But the next chapter will be much long which is coming out Saturday! the 21st! and just a quick side note do have a end of the year field trip next week Wednesday! So expect a chapter fairly late! I might update around 1:00AM! Because I'll be sleeping earlier than usual as i have to get there at 5:00AM :) + I'm a tad sick atm, sorry :)

If you Remember in y/n's official backstory, she changed after a year of living with Tenzin which furtherly explains the lyric. "Feels like I'm somebody else" But then she changes when she lives with Lin, because it's obvious she more comfortable to be herself with Lin. And we all know y/n has a tad bit of anxiety, which causes her to do what she does sometimes or feels she can't cry.
