"REGULUS ARCTURUS BLACK"
The black lake had a way of washing me over with a sense of calmness.
I never dared to swim in it though. Knowing and not knowing what possibly lurked beneath those waters.
But, watching it now, under the protection of a giant beech tree, raindrops tapping the surface roughly as it down poured...
...brought me peace.
I breathed in the earthy scent surrounding me and opened up Carina's book.
I'm still rather surprised at how interesting these muggle books are. I never expected to enjoy them so much.
Flipping through the pages, I was glad to finally be able to read through her annotations.

I was nearly halfway through the book when I noticed movement a little way away from me on my right, through my peripheral vision. It seemed to be some sort of animal.
Closing the book, I turned my head in the direction of the movement.
There it stood, a beautiful red and white colored fox with a large bushy tail and its ears perked up as it watched me.
It seemed to be studying me, as if questioning whether to approach or not.
We were in a proper stare down for about a minute before the animal decided to advance towards me, for whatever reason.
Calmly, I watched as it neared slowly, stopping right beside me.
I examined the fox closely. From the tip of its nose all the way down to its red fluffy tail. It was a magnificent creature to see up close.
