35:We need to go!

"Kai, was hast du getan?" Greta asks coming out of the kitchen with her phone still on her ear. [Translation: Kai, what's going on?]

"Ma?"

"I just got a call from Lilian, she tells me that David's body was found at an abandoned building site and his tongue was sent to them, Irma says you did it."

"If he wasn't a little racist pig, I would have let him leave." She puts her phone in her pocket and stands in front of Kai

"What happened?"

"Er hat Kamo eine n-wort und schweinescheiße genannt, er hat gedroht, deine enkelin zu töten, sie haben glück, dass ich ihn nicht gefoltert habe."
[Translation: He called Kamo the n-word and pig slop, he threatened to kill your granddaughter, they are lucky I didn't torture him.]

"Kaiser! Du kannst ihn nicht einfach töten, du weißt, dass sie dieses haus mit uns darin niederbrennen werden, wenn sie es herausfinden!"
[Translation: You can't just kill him, you know they will burn this house with us in it if they find out!"

"Ma, is Lilian going to send them after me, again?" Who are we talking about, I hate being left out.

"She did not sound like she was but I would not put it past Irma."

"Call Lilian and ask her." He stands up and goes to the kitchen as Greta calls Lilian, who I guess is Irma's mom.

He comes back and asks his mom to come into the kitchen. 

"Kamo, please come here."

"What?" He cups my face,

"I need you to go back your things and Khanyi's we need to leave in thirty minutes."

"Are you going to tell me why?"

"On the plane." A nod and I go to prepare everything. Khanyi was asleep so I was trying not to wake her up.

"Done?"

"Yeah." He takes the bags into the car.

"I wished you could have stayed longer but he will explain everything. I will be coming to see you two very soon." She places a kiss on sleepy Khanyi's head.

"Will be waiting for you and Hilda." We share a hug.

Kai booked a private jet for us. Once in the sky and Khanyi sleeping again, pulls me onto his lap.

"Storytime?"

"Unfortunately. David is a Neo-Nazi and has been for as long as I have known about him. When I left Germany, it was because I killed one of their leaders. When Irma and I were arguing, before I hit her with my car, we were arguing about me beating the shit out of her brother for torching my friend's car, luckily he was not in the car. Dave ended up in the hospital, but didn't die so it gave me time to get out of the country before his buddies could get to me and I have never been back until now."

"Your friend, was he black?"

"She was white but was an activist against the white supremacist groups in Munich, she got lynched a few months after I left."

"What is a negress?"

"Female version of the N-word." Oh, that is a word I have never heard before.

"So Irma, is she a white supremacist?"

"She could be. You were right."

"About?"

"When you said this is a bad situation, your instincts were spot on and allowed my insecurities and wanting to be right to cloud my judgement and put your life and Khanyi's in danger, I am sorry."
