Siddhi was setting up the bed when Kunal entered the room, he casually looked around the room.

Siddhi: Kunal! Are you looking for something? Can I help?

Kunal: Nothing, this room looks (makes a funny face) very girly.

Siddhi gave a sheepish smiles

Siddhi: haan, this was our room, girls room. We wanted pink all over the room with lavender cushions and white curtains

Kunal: but it feels different to be in all pink , no offence but I cant tolerate a pink room in my house.

Siddhi: What color was Raveena's room in Bandra waali ghar? ( Once Kunal was rich, and the house they had in Bandra was big)

Kunal: yeah Pink!! but now she is married to Vikram, and there is no way our house is gonna look pink

Siddhi: What if you have a daughter and she wants it all pink? ( later then thinks that if he has a daughter then it should be her's as well).

Siddhi couldnt believe what she just said to Kunal, she was dying in embarssement

Siddhi: matlab ... Anouki, Ishani..

Kunal: If she asks then I cant say no, matlab to Anouki and Ishani ( Siddhi turns other side and blushes)

Siddhi: Shall I ask Shilpa to switch the room?

Kunal: No, lets not disturb her. This is still a pretty room, mm so where do I sleep?

Siddhi(totally blank): In this room!?

Kunal: Haan, but where in here?

Siddhi(laughs): Dont you see a huge bed here Kunal?

Kunal: And where will you sleep?

Siddhi: Bed..(then understands what he is trying to say).  You can sleep here, I will take the floor

Kunal: No, I will sleep down.

Siddhi: But you have been sleeping down there so long, please take the bed today.

Kunal:  bas, bas. Im gonna sleep down and you are gonna sleep on the bed, final. No more arguments

Siddhi: mm Kunal...

Kunal: bolo

Siddhi: kuch nehi

Kunal: Again, If you have something in mind tell it

Siddhi: woh..

Kunal: Kya woh?

Siddhi: If you answer like this how will people say what they want to? see you are intimidating me.

Kunal: teek hai, abhi bolo baba

Siddhi: mmm, if you dont have a problem, then you can sleep with me

Kunal: What?

Siddhi: Nehi!! not that way.. oh, no ... This bed is huge, you can take one corner and i can take the other one.

Kunal laughs his heart out seeing a panicked Siddhi

Kunal: No, im good sleeping on the floor

Siddhi: Kyun? You don't trust me?

Kunal: The question is not about trust , but comfort. Btw Do you trust me that much Siddhi?(jovially)

Siddhi: I might not be sharing a bed with you Kunal but im sharing my life, so yes I trust you. And about comfort, 

Kunal: Siddhi!, i was just joking

Siddhi: Nobody likes your joke Kunal

Kunal: Why are you getting mad for a small thing SIddhi?

Siddhi: i.. i dont know

Kunal: I know, this is habitual behavior. If you stay with me, then this is how you turn (they laugh)

Kunal and siddhi take the extreme corners of the bed, and pack themselves in the corner as much as they can do. But there is a akward silence and a huge gap that can fit an elephant down between them.

Kunal:  Siddhi.. ( pauses for a while) are you still awake?

Siddhi: mm,

Kunal: I wanna tell you something

Siddhi: Should I switch on the lights?

Kunal: No, just listen to whatever I say.(takes a deep breathe) Few days back I got .. Voh.. ek offer from Batliwalla ... and its good and on my terms. A good position and yes the CTC looks nice. But..

Siddhi: But?

Kunal: They want me to join in 15 days in delhi, short after Shilpa's marriage

Siddhi: Have you decided Kunal?

Kunal: Not yet, that is why i'm telling you, mmm..

Siddhi: there is some more to it , isnt it?

Kunal: You know right that we cant take the entire family there suddenly. Papa, Seema, Gaurav and ma, their lives are here in mumbai. And this is not a ordinary offer to reject, this will be very helpful for us.

Siddhi: And...

Kunal: I need 6 months, if i get that experience then i can easily get a job right here in mumbai.

Siddhi: And you are thinking on leaving me here, and you were trying to convey me this, isnt it?

Kunal: mm, haan. Yes. Do you have any problem over it?

Siddhi( in mind) : Just a few minutes back i was elated by the fact that we are sharing a same bed and now you are saying that you are going away from me for the next 6 month

Kunal: Siddhi! are you fine with my decision?

Siddhi: haan, aapki naukri, why are you even asking me? Why would I stop you? and what right do I have to do so...
