3RD PERSON POV
"Y/n get your ass up" Scarlett knocked on her daughters door loudly before entering seeing y/n sprawled out in her bed sleeping peacefully
"Y/N" Scarlett shouted ripping the covers from y/n, y/n groaned rubbing her eyes and turning over into a small ball
"I swear to god, if your ass isn't downstairs in 15 minutes, your walking to school and walking home" Scarlett said sternly before leaving y/n's room.
Y/n swung her legs over her bed and got up making her way into her bathroom and brushing her teeth, doing her morning routine. She then walked over to her closet, staring at the clothes she had for a few minutes before picking out a simple outfit and throwing that on herself.
"Woah, look who rose from the dead" Scarlett joked and placed down a plate of toast on the island as y/n dragged herself to the table
"Real funny" y/n said rolling her eyes, pulling out her phone and sitting down, slowly eating her toast
"You have 5 minutes to eat that y/n, or else your walking" Scarlett said and walked out of the kitchen to get her jacket and shoes.
Y/n quickly finished her toast and rushed to put her shoes on and find her jacket, she ran back to the front door and saw her mom waiting
"Your hair's still a mess" Scarlett smirked and opened the door for y/n, she grabbed her phone and bag, walking out
"Well, that's just life mom" She said grabbing her claw clip and pulling her hair up into a messy bun
"See, fixed" y/n shouted walking down to the car as Scarlett finished locking up the door
"Could you not shout down the street y/n, it's 8 in the morning" Scarlett sighed closing her car door and starting the engine
"Sorry" y/n mumbled unlocking her phone and answering back to all the messages she missed this morning
"Can i go out with Lena after school please" y/n asked, not looking up from her phone
"I though we agreed on a movie night tonight" Scarlett sighed, remembering the deal they both made
"Oh, yeahh, never mind" y/n said shaking her head, as much as she wanted to hang out with Lena, she did promise her mom that she would watch a movie with her.
"I'll pick you up same spot, same time sweetheart" Scarlett said leaning over and kissing y/n's cheek
"Mom" y/n groaned pulling away and opening her door, Scarlett playfully rolled her eyes and leaned back into her seat
"See you later, love you" Y/n said before slamming the car door shut and making her way into the gates for school.

"Hey honey" Scarlett smiled as she stood outside y/n's school gates
"Hey mom" y/n answered but kept her eyes on her phone, Scarlett kissed y/n forehead which was almost dodged by y/n.
"Mom not here" y/n said crossing the road, eyes still glued to her phone, Scarlett mumbled a small 'sorry' and unlocked the car and driving back home.
"Mom how long is this movie gonna be, how many are there" y/n asked walking into the house
"I was thinking the whole night, just you and me, we haven't really been spending much time together" Scarlett smiled placing the purse down and taking her coat off.
