venus and raven are both the first ones to be dropped off at ravens house. venus has to lie to her parents and say she's going to auroras since her parents have deeply homophobic thoughts and roots. aurora makes sure to keep her phone off silent incase she gets any texts from the strict people.
the rain stops in the middle of their drive to auroras house and they all cheer except for aurora. she sighs loudly, wishing she could've been able to fall asleep to rain tonight.
