Chapter 24

One month later

Aaron and I agree not to tell the team just yet. We both wanted to wait until the 12 weeks mark so we could tell them. It was currently my 12-week mark and we were in the office. I was with morgan in the breakroom getting some snacks when JJ came in.

"Hey guys, we have a case." She says and heads to the conference room.

Morgan and I being to walk to the conference room. While making our way there, morgan starts the conversation.

"So, how is married life?"

"It's going well," I say getting nervous about telling the team.

"That's good. How's Jack?"

I step in front of him once we get close to the conference room, "Jack is great. He is excited about a conversation we had the other night."

Morgan is curious and makes a face, not knowing what I am about to tell him.

"It doesn't take a profiler to figure out why Jack suddenly wants to talk to my belly," I say pointing to my belly and smirking.

Morgan is in shock, not believing you, "No"

I smile at his reaction and nod, "Yes"

"Seriously, okay so that's why you got this little glowing thing going on and all this time I thought it was my flirty self making you blush," Morgan says gesturing to my face.

I laugh at his statement, "Oh no, it's that too."

He brings me for a hug, congratulating me on the news. Garcia is in the conference room on her tablet when she looks up and sees Morgan and I hugging. She heads towards us.

"Oh. Hey! Hugs are happening. Yeah, I want in." She says while hugging us. Taking a step back smiling she says, "Why are we hugging? Not that I mind some early morning unexpected loving but..."

She realizes that I am glowing and gets excited.

"You are glowing." Then she looks at Morgan for confirmation.

"Derek she is glowing... she's glowing. Ahh, who else knows?"

I laugh at her reaction and personality, "Aaron and the both of you."

"Ahh, I'm so happy!!" She says giving me a hug and then pulling me to the conference room.

Once we enter the room, Aaron notices Garcia's excitement and knows that I told them both.

"You guys, you guys. Y/n has the best news." Garcia tells the other excitedly

There's a moment of silence everyone looking at me, waiting for the news. I look at Aaron and he nods, giving me the go-ahead. "Good morning, I'm pregnant."

The room burst into excitement.

"What?" Spencer is surprised, coming for a hug.

"Buona Fortuna" Rossi says giving me a hug.

I take a peek at Aaron and he has a big smile on his face, he mouths "I love you." making my heart melt. Making me mouth "I love you too" with a big smile on my face.

"Congratulations" Spencer says smiling big.

"Yesss" JJ laughs, "My goodness" She brings me in for a hug also.

"Ahh, I knew there was something with you," Emily says smiling.

"Well, now you all know," I say laughing.

"Hotch was very quiet" Emily mentions laughing.

"We wanted it to be a surprise," Aaron says coming to my side and smiling big, giving me a side hug.

"Well, you did surprise us guys," Spencers says and the room fills with laughter.

"How far along are you?" JJ asks and everyone is wondering the same.

"Just 12 weeks today." I

"Omg, you have hidden this for that long?" JJ says and I laugh.

"I hope that in there there is a girl," Emily says and most of the room agrees.

"We will see," Aaron says smiling.

"I cannot imagine Aaron with a daughter." Rossi mentions and the room agrees.

"He will be overly protective of her," Morgan mentions.

"I can agree to that," Spencer says laughing.

"There's going to be a profiler baby. I'm so excited." Garcias says with joy.

"Yes, there will be a profiler baby coming soon," Aaron says.

"I'm excited but nervous at the same time," I say looking at Aaron.

"And that's okay. I'll be there the whole time supporting you. You don't have to worry about that." Aaron says looking at me and reassuring me.

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"Woah Woah single lives matter," Morgan says and the room fills with joy and laughter.
