Moving Out.

That sentence alone means one thing; The day Jakah had to leave and go to Riverfield has finally arrived.

It felt like the days went by so quickly even if Jakah didn't want them to, then here came the day he had to leave home. Even the marks he had placed on his calendar didn't help him answer his question as to how the days passed by so quickly in a small blink of an eye

His room was now cleaner than how it used to be. His once piled up desk went empty and neat, the wall that was once filled with pictures and posters were all cleaned away- except for some pictures and photo frames that Jakah wanted to leave behind stayed the exact same

His once disheveled and messed up bed was now neat and tidy. Jakah softly runs his hand along the walls of his room as he looks around, he can't believe the today has finally come and it actually did

His bags were all packed and set to go while his other stuff were stuffed into the boxes his sister had lent to him a few days ago- just merely thinking about how his sister, Jahya who had singlehandedly yet scarily watched him the whole time he was trying to pack everything he deemed necessary still churns in a heavy and scary twist in his stomach every now and then

I mean, who wouldn't feel like they were being tortured by just a stare coming from their sister to hurry up with packing and just roll along with it? Nah, Jakah felt like his back was gonna be ripped to shreds

His sister looked like some spy watching over his target and Jakah couldn't help more but to get goosebumps on him whenever he'd try to remember the stare she had threw at him for how many days he was deciding what to pack and stuff into his suitcases and in the few boxes that his sister had brought over to him

Helping his Father with carrying his heavy suitcases and other stuff down after taking one last look of his room, Jakah found himself passing by Jahya's bedroom with it's door left slightly ajar

According to what Jahya had told him before that if he had anything that is no longer useful, he could either donate it, recycle it or throw it away if necessary

But what Jakah had found in her room was those old drawings and origami that they use to make before as kids during their leisure time they always spent together within this very standing home
