A whole day spent with you
is heaven on its own.
Speaking to you every hour
talking about who knows what
and laughing so hard that we can't breathe.
Sitting by the piano
listening to you play those keys
and me on the guitar plucking those strings.
I'm in love with the sounds of music
and the sound of your voice.
It plays a song every time a word is spoke
and I feel safe.
A whole day spent with you
brings me warmth and comfort;
feelings I haven't felt in years.
I will never let you go,
I love you,
and I will never forget the time
I spent the whole day with you.
