"He is left to work, and would only be back at night"

"Oh, I see" Hwasa nodded slowly in understanding, envy lurking just beneath her eyes. "I've actually assumed that you were a single mother, Lili. I envy you having a child, but why aren't you married to the boy's father?"

Lisa came up with a reason at random. "He is busy with work and doesn't have the time".

"That's just an excuse!" Hwasa became paler immediately. "I'm telling you, men would give every excuse they could if they don't want to marry you!"

"You already gave him a child, but he still wouldn't give you title? There are only two explanations: on, he doesn't love you or your son and two, his just fooling around with you and doesn't care about you at all!"

Hwasa was now offering advice sincerely as if she had experienced it in the past. "Lili, I'm telling you, don't be with a man like that or you'll end up very hurt!"

Wasn't she supposed to be unware that man she was referring to was Jungkook? Why was she now 'advising' her?

Lisa became cautious. What was Hwasa meaning to do?

Was she really offering advice, or actually trying to separate her from Jungkook?

Still, despite her suspicions and inner conflict, Lisa did not really react and simply smiled. "That's fine. I just hope that my child could grow up happy and healthy, and that's enough".

Hwasa shook her head and sighed. "A mother's love is so great".

Unwilling to talk about that further because she would feel worse inwardly if she did, Lisa stood up. "Do you want something to drink? Coffee or juice?"

"Juice. Coffee is bad for health".

Lisa headed to the kitchen, took out several fresh oranges and showed it to Hwasa. "Is orange juice alright?"

Hwasa nodded. "Sure".

Lisa cut the fruit and put it into the mixer which churned noisily.

She watched as the oranges were ground down, and blanket out then.

The truth was that she was moved whenever Jungkook proposed to her, but she would decide not to when she calmed down.

The largest obstacle in her heart was that he had bedded her four years ago an his lost memory.

If she couldn't fully accept him, she wouldn't marry him.

Meanwhile, Hwasa was carefully scanning every corner of the house as she did her best to find any trace of Jungkook.

That was when Lisa's phone screen brightened.

The caller was Jungkook.

She quickly glanced at Lisa at the kitchen, and promptly received the call before the phone could ring.

Jungkook's gentle voice spoke. "Missed me yet?"

Hwasa never heard such tenderness from him. As her rage and jealously surged at once, she clenched the phone with so much strength that she could crush it.

Still, she took a deep breath and sweetly replied. "Jungkook, are you looking for Lili? She is making me juice".

Silence answered her, and before she could say more, the call was disconnected.

Hwasa returned the phone precisely where it had been while, Lisa came out of the kitchen with the cup of juice. She took it and had a sip of the juice. "This is nice".

Meanwhile, in his office, Jungkook was narrowing his eyes dangerously.

Hwasa was actually seeing Lisa? And in her house!?

That damned woman!

****

At night, Jungkook promptly wrapped his arms around Lisa when he returned.

She was almost suffocating, only to have him kiss urgently and violently.

"Hmmmm...." Lisa flushed as she pushed him away. "What's wrong?"

"Did Hwasa came here?"

Lisa was surprised. "How did you know?"

"I called you this afternoon. She answered it" Jungkook answered as her stroked her lips.

Lisa frowned in surprise. "She didn't tell me! So impolite!"

Jungkook gently took her face in his hands and looked into her eyes. His voice was soft and careful as he asked cautiously, "What did she tell you?"

He was afraid that the damned woman would say something that left Lisa unhappy again.

Still, Lisa shook her head. "Nothing but...."

Pausing, she did not hold back her loathing at all. "She moved next door, and told me that we're neighbors now. Jungkook....I don't like being next door to her".

Liking her honesty, Jungkook could not help but grin as he lifted her chin. "Then shall we moved to our house?"

Lisa had the same idea at first, but had been soon abandoned that idea. "She'll suspect something if we moved quickly. Let's wait and see what she actually wants, but....Jungkook, she acted like she didn't know me, or about me and you...."

"Silly". Unable to hold back a chuckle, Jungkook brushed the tip of his nose with hers as his eyes showed a thousand different tender feelings. "Who could be as naive as you Lili?"

"Huh?" Lisa blinked before slowly realizing the truth. "Are you saying that she knows everything, and was just pretending?"

"Yeah".

Lisa immediately felt played.

It seems that Hwasa was not good at all the scheming type.

Still, her frustrated and annoyed little motions were so adorable that Jungkook kissed her again, and his breathing became a little unsteady from the fragrant soapy scents wafting from her body.

He held her, his voice sounding like a low violinic rhythm that was at once rich and devilish charming. "I love you".

He had said those three words so many times, but Lisa always softened when she heard them.

She knew that he was saying those three words to tell her once again that he loves her, no matter what would happen.

That was when the little one roared unhappily after being neglected for ages.

"Daddy! Mommy!"

Jungkook had been in a good mood at first, but his face promptly darkened at the sight of the miniature version of himself.

Lisa crouched. "What is it?"

"I don't care anymore, Mommy!" The little one pouted and started crying. "Daddy didn't even cate about me after coming back! Are you going to throw me away when you get my sister?"

"No way! I carried you for nine months. Why would I throw you away?!"

"I don't care!" The little one started to throw a fit, lying down and kicking and crying. "Every time Mommy and Daddy hug and kiss, Mommy won't care about me anymore! There's no love in this home anymore! I'm leaving!"

With that, the little one acted as if he was heading for the door.

However, Jungkook caught him by the collar and flung him on the couch, glowering. "Cry some more and I'm flushing you down the toilet!"

He is already so old and all he knew was crying. What a ladyboy!

Annoying!

Still, the little one cried even harder, and the house was about to shake while clenching Lisa in the heart, who quickly went up and coaxed him. "I won't throw you away, baby. I'll sleep with you tonight, and put my arms around you. Okay?"

The little one's tears stopped immediately as he stood up. "Really Mommy!?"
