Contrary to popular belief, George isn't completely clueless when it comes to women. Now, he's not an expert but he can definitely tell when there's something wrong. And he's smart enough to understand that the term 'I'm fine' means 'I am in fact not fine, I am slowly reaching my fucking breaking point.'

He didn't have to be there in person to understand that something was wrong with Chungha, the many blunt text messages as well as her refusal to pick up his call was enough evidence for him to believe that something wasn't right. And whether he had done something to upset her, he didn't know but he did know that she was clearly not in the best mood and that didn't sit right with him. Still, he gave her some space whilst still frequently texting minor updates just to let her know of his whereabouts as well as telling her he loves her, as well as subtle reminders that he's there for her no matter what.

Still, she kept on her blunt front.

By 6:30, even her blunt replies had completely stopped and she resorted to leaving George on read which to be honest, was quite a blow to the stomach – George hates being left on read. Soon, he began growing frustrated. He had spent the whole day wracking his brain, wondering what on Earth he could have done to make her so upset.

6:42, he was heading out of the door despite the calls from his members telling him he needed to pack. He could pack in one night, right now, he needed to figure out what the hell was going on with his girlfriend.

7:01, he arrived at her home. And was greeted by Bambi as well as a scornful expression.

"I bought you flowers," George told her meekly, holding them up with a nervous smile.

Chungha eyed them for a moment before taking them into her hands with a curt nod. "Thanks. Is that all?"

Oh, that stung.

Poking his tongue against his cheek, George closed the door behind him. "No. No it's not."

"I didn't say you could come in."

Running a hand through his hair frustratedly, George wrapped his arms around her legs and threw her over his shoulder before stepping outside, placing her down in front of him.

"What the hell!?"

"Look, I'm not going to get frustrated nor am I going to leave knowing you're upset with me. But I am also not going to stand and let you be blunt with me without even letting me know what's wrong. That's not how a relationship works and we are not going to be one of those couples that has no communication and just lets each other play guessing games," George told her, before leaning over to tap her temple. "I'm not in that pretty head of yours, I can't read your mind. So, I am here and I am going to listen to you tell me what's wrong."

With that, George sat down on the floor and crossed his legs whilst staring up at her expectantly. Chungha hugged her cardigan tighter to her body, seemingly surprised—though she couldn't help but feel a warmth spread in her chest. Sure, it was the bare minimum for him to communicate, but she felt listened to. He had noticed a problem, and now he was ready to understand and solve it.

"I just- it seems stupid now..." She mumbled.

George shook his head. "If it's causing you discomfort, it isn't stupid."

Sighing, Chungha sat down in front of him and began fiddling with his fingers, avoiding eye contact. "I just- I feel like you've only just returned from Vegas and I have barely seen you, and then now you're going to leave again and I just- I'm proud of you, and I am so supportive, but I can't help but feel..."

"Left behind?" George suggested, tilting his head to meet her eyes.

Chungha nodded, covering her face with her hands, which George immediately reached out to tear away, taking her hands in his own with a comforting squeeze.

"Why didn't you just tell me how you were feeling?"

"I don't know, I was embarrassed and I guess angry at everything. Angry at me for feeling this way, at you for not automatically understanding and just- the world."

George nodded. "That's understandable."

"It's not-"

"Yes, it is. Look, I know that me travelling a lot isn't ideal, and it would be selfish of me to expect for you to always be okay with it. I would never ever ridicule you for having valid feelings, Chungha. I hate when you travel, and I can't see you because I miss you so much when you're gone."

"I just want you all to myself, and I know it's selfish."

George chuckled, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "You're my girlfriend, not wanting to share is natural. You think I enjoy sharing you with your schedules and fans? Hell no, but I am comforted knowing that I'm the one you want. I will never leave you behind, ever. You are the center of my mind constantly, and maybe I need to start letting you know that more."

Chungha gave a sad smile.

"When I get back, I'll speak with both of our teams and look into booking a few days off and we can go somewhere nice. No phones, no work. Just you, and my undivided attention. Would that help, you think?"

Chungha didn't reply, instead, she cupped George's cheeks and brought his face closer to her own and pressed connected their lips together.

"Thank you, for you know, not being mad at the way I handled things."

George gave her lips another peck before rubbing her cheek. "Talk to me next time, okay?"

"I will," she promised, rising to her feet before helping George up too.

"So, what I'm taking away from this whole thing is that you're obsessed with me?"

"Get in the house before I shove my foot up your ass."

"Kinky."

"Lee Geun!"
