- Takemichi POV -

(Y/n) stayed quiet as we followed Kazutora. She either kept her head down or looked around our surroundings. It's like she refused to look where Kazutora was or where he looked. "Stay close. Don't act so rashly, okay?" She finally spoke. I nod at her words and we both headed inside Valhalla's base. As we got closer we both gasped seeing the scene in front of us. I asked Kazutora what was happening and he explained to me that Baji was beating up Toman's first division vice-captain. "Baji. . .why?" I look over at (Y/n). Her eyes were already filled with tears. In a blink of an eye, (Y/n) was in the middle of the room. Kicking Baji away from the beaten Vice-captain. "Why are doing this, Baji? Why now?! After all this time with being in Toman?!" She shouts at him. "Is it because of him?!" She points to Kazutora. Baji looks at her with a monotone look. "You shouldn't be here, (Y/n). None of this concerns you." He tells her. (Y/n) walks closer to Baji and gets close to his face. "Let me remind you that I'm still Toman's second president. So by you running off to another gang out of the blue does concern me." My eyes widen as (Y/n) punches Baji across the face. Knocking him down to his knees. 

"It's been so long since I've seen her like this." Kazutora smiles. Wait, so has (Y/n) always been this strong?! Did she always have a delinquent past? "You want a test of faith? Then let's settle this here and now. If I win then you come back to Toman and if I lose. . .you stay with Valhalla." (Y/n). I feel like I'm supposed to say that since that's what I came here for. Though, I think it's better to let her handle this. "It's no wonder back then that you were given the name Athena back then. You may not show it, but you're a fighter just like your twin brother." It was Hanma who spoke. He jumps down and stood between Baji and (Y/n). He then walks over to me and told me to step forward. I thought I was going to be the next test of faith, but I was only brought to testify what Baji said that night. Hanma then looks back at (Y/n). "Unfortunately, Baji has already shown his test of faith. You can't do anything about it. Though, I have only one question. Why did you stop being the fearsome Athena?" Hanma asks her. Baji stood up and wipe his mouth from the blood that was dripping from it. "It starts back in the summer of 2003. When it was our first year of middle school." Baji begins. 

~ Flashback~

"Hurry up, Mikey. Who knows how long (Y/n) can keep an open spot for us at the beach." Kazutora said. "Are you just worried that your girlfriend might be talking to a different guy?" Pah teases. "Shut up, man! (Y/n) wouldn't do such a thing!" Kazutora shouts. It was a mystery to Baji, Draken, and Mitsuya. How was Kazutora able to be in a relationship with (Y/n)? Mikey wouldn't let anyone date his twin, but all of sudden. . .he was open to it. They probably thought that (Y/n) only sees them as friends and since Kazutora was such a new face back then.

"About time, you boys showed up." (Y/n) smiles. She was wearing Mikey's old t-shirt and swim trunks. "Are you always going to wear Mikey's old clothes?" Kazutora asks. "Oi, don't be a pervert." (Y/n) warns. Kazutora put his hands up in defense and chuckles. "Either way, you still look good." He smiles. "I think I just threw up in my mouth," Draken says. The couple playfully roll their eyes and began to spend their day at the beach. "Kazu, where's my brother and Baji?" (Y/n) asks. "Mikey's moped ran out of gas. Baji was unfortunate to go and put gas in it. Though, I don't where Mikey went." Kazutora informs.

(Y/n) and Kazutora were out on a date. (Y/n) stopped in front of the jewelry store as she awes a beautiful necklace on display. Kazutora stopped and looked where she was looking. "It's so beautiful. Too bad it's expensive." Kazutora knew that she has been wanting that necklace. Whenever they pass the store, she would turn her head to see if it was still there to look at. He began to save up his money even before they became a couple, so he could buy it for her. This year, he finally got enough money to buy it. Her birthday was just right around the corner and he couldn't waste any more time. "I'll buy it for you," he told her. (Y/n) looked at him in shock and disbelief. "Kazu, no offense, but I don't think even you can afford it. Not even I can if asked." She grabbed his arm and continued to walk with him. "It's a sweet thought that you would do such a thing, but it's not something to worry about. I just want our relationship to be good and healthy for the rest of our lives. As long as you're by my side, I couldn't ask for anything more." (Y/n) hums and kisses Kazutora's cheek. Kazutora blushes and returned the kiss. "If that's what you want then that's what I'll give." He smiles. However, nothing was changing his plans about her gift.

On the night of the break-in, Kazutora's and Baji's lives were about to change. Baji ran to Shinichiro's unmoving body and began to cry. "Because he's Mikey's and (Y/n)'s older brother!" Baji says. Kazutora's eyes widen at the information. 

"I look up to my big brother; Shinichiro. He's so cool and awesome. He taught me a lot of things that I just want to be like him. Someday, maybe I can work at his shop and maybe own it. Pass it down to many generations as far as it goes. I love him very much. Both me and Mikey." (Y/n) smiles brightly. 

"(Y/n). . .(Y/n)'s never going to forgive me. She'll break up with me. . .she'll never want to see me again. I can't lose her. . .she's the only thing good in my life." Kazutora began to ramble and then blame Mikey for his actions. As the two were arrested, Mikey and (Y/n) arrived at the area. "Baji!/ Kazu!" the two called out. Both their eyes widen in shock as they looked at the two boys. Baji began to cry and apologize. Kazutora looked at (Y/n) and saw the necklace that she wanted around her neck. Before he left with Baji to steal the bike from the shop, he wanted to give her a present early. "Pretty as I imagined it on you, Cupcake," he said to her.

(Y/n) clenched her fist as she punched Baji and Kazutora in the face. She looked down at them with rage in her eyes. "What gives you two the right to smile at my older brother's death?" She snapped her head to the side. "This isn't something to be victorious about. No. This is something to be scared of." Baji and Kazutora felt fear run down their spine as they looked at (Y/n)'s eyes. Something that they had never seen before. "Who's head should I bust first?" she asks with a stare that only death can make to the unfortunate.
