Your POV

Two weeks had passed by since the day Ryujin threatened me about the past, and she had not done a single thing since then beside throwing glares my way whenever we caught each other's eyes. To say I was surprised would be an understatement. I was actually happy for once in my school life since Ryujin ruined it the first time in high school. But I knew there had to be a reason for her leaving me alone these past two weeks. I just didn't want to ruin my luck, so I never mentioned anything about it to her. So instead I ended up being scared of what she could be planning. There was no other reason for her leaving me alone, because that girl did not have one good bone in her body. I was even surprised she still had friends, but they might be just as bad as her. Except for maybe Heejin, she is nice. I can't say the same about Yeji, Lia and Chaeryeong. They weren't that nice in high school, however they weren't as bad as Ryujin either. And from what Minjeong has told me, they might have changed since then with the exception of Ryujin.

In these past two weeks, I have started working out more. After sweating so much after dance lessons, I figured I needed to work out more so I wouldn't have such a hard time. It turned out to help out a bit, but I still needed to continue working out for it to have a bigger effect. Of course I would still sweat but it wouldn't be as bad as before.

Besides working out, I actually got the job at the coffee shop with Minjeong. We started working there two days ago and since we are still learning about the coffee machine and how to use it, we have another worker with us. I guess the manager found out we know Heejin, because she put her to work with us. I might have overheard a conversation between the two where the manager asked if she could help out because she knew us and of course still be paid as if it is her own shift.

Everything was pretty easy at the job, the only difficulty was the machine and slowly but surely we're learning more and more on how to use it and make good coffee. I think we only need Heejin with us one more time before we can work alone.

Currently we're at work after a long day at the university, and we had a dance lesson today so I was pretty tired. I got to take a shower before my shift in one of the locker rooms, and luckily I was there alone.

I was standing by the cash register waiting for any new customers but it was a slow day today. Minjeong was cleaning out a table while Heejin was cleaning the countertops behind me. I was getting so tired and bored that I put my elbow on the countertop before the cash register and held my head up by my hand.

Slowly my eyes started getting droopy and I felt like I could fall asleep right then and there, but instead that earned me a smack upside the back of my head and I quickly turned around to see Minjeong standing there with the plastic box holding dirty dishes and a grin on her face. I glared at her which only make her smile brighter.

"No falling asleep on the job, Y/LN."

"I wasn't-"

"She's right Y/NN, if the manager sees you then you're dead." Heejin cut in our conversation and gave me a pointed look.

"She can't fire me yet... right?" I looked between the two of them, scared of it being real.

"No-"

"Yes she can, so get it together" The both talked at the same time but Heejin stopped once Minjeong talked a little louder which also made me unable to hear what Heejin said.

"Really?"

Minjeong stepped closer to Heejin as she nodded her head at me, making me stand up straighter and turn around with a determined look on my face. I didn't even turn back around when I heard an "ow" from Heejin as Minjeong probably hit her from the slap I heard. I didn't bother turning around and listen to them so I continued standing there like a Sims figure and wait for customers.
