"It's so peaceful."

No it's not, Chifuyu. Not for Takemichi, anyway. As he sits slumped on his bed, he's staring at the unrolled sleeping bag on the floor in front of him.

Nakano isn't here anymore, so he has to do this himself. Though he's not really sure of where to go now, that's not what was really on his mind since last night.

Is Nakano going to be okay on her own? What if something really bad happens in her future? Would she come back to let him know? Maybe if it's bad enough on her end and is affecting her life negatively. He just hopes it isn't.

'What if it's like last time, and something bad happened to her, but she's not able to shake hands with me?' The growing panic becomes strong enough to contort his face into a worried expression. 'Was sending her back really such a good idea? I mean, she agreed with it...'

"Takemichi?" Chifuyu calls his name for the millionth time, and it finally reaches him. "Are you even listening?"

"Huh? Uh, yeah..." Takemichi straightens out his back, but he slumps over immediately. "Well... Uh, not really." He sighs deeply. "It's just... I'm worried, you know? After knowing what she's been through, I just hope she's okay."

Chifuyu swings his legs off of the windowsill. "Yeah, I get it. Nakano-san is such a cool person. But seeing her like that... Let's not think about that. We still need a plan." He springs up to his feet. "Let's go for a walk. That ought to get the ideas swirling."

Takemichi heaves himself to his feet, and slaps his face with both of his cheeks. "Right! Gotta stay on track!"

'How the fuck did we get here!?' Takemichi struggles to get to his feet, already bleeding and forming bruises. 'Akkun said these guys were from Tenjiku? I've never heard of them! This shouldn't happen in the past!'

Long story short, while on their walk, Takemichi and Chifuyu ran into the beaten up guys from the Mizo mid group at the train station. Then these scary looking guys showed up and started chasing them around, and Takemichi had to double back and help Chifuyu after he found out three hundred guys showed up from Yokohama.

And now, here they are, trying to face these monsters. As expected, they're not doing very well on their own.

"Where's Nakano when you need her!?!"

The sudden outburst from Makoto causes Takemichi to clench his eyes shut. The pressure weighs him down even more.

'Right... It would've been so much easier if she were here. She could take all these guys down by herself in a matter of seconds.' Takemichi heaves himself to his knees, every one of his limbs throbbing with pain. 'But she's not here. I need to do this myself!!'

Suddenly, a pair of legs appear in his vision. "You don't understand what's going on, do you?"

"Huh?" Half way up, he cranes his head upward to face whoever's standing in front of him. This is the last person he wants to see. "Kisaki!"

"Yo, 'Hero'." Now wearing a different uniform, Kisaki Tetta stands befrom Takemichi, glaring down at him. "Shall we begin the Kanto incident?"

"Hero?" Takemichi recalls Kisaki saying this in one of the futures. What he means by that is beyond him, so he doesn't press on it. "You changed sides because you were kicked out of Toman."

"Don't compare your stupid brain to mine," Kisaki insults him. "I created my own Toman. And one day, Mikey will acknowledge me."

"Kisaki!" Someone else joins the fray on their motorcycle. "We should go."
