You didn't know how long the ride took until the carriage arrived in the Interior. The reason was that you had fallen asleep along the way and when you stirred from your slumber as the carriage slowed down it was already nightfall.
"Are we here?" you muttered, adjusting yourself as you straightened up.
"You looked so comfortable sleeping in the carriage," Levi said, his voice containing a hint of sarcasm as he opened his eyes and unfolded his arms, looking at you with the slightest upturn of his lips that made you smile as well.
"Yes, I was very much comfortable."
The carriage halted completely and you opened the door as you saw the residence that you and Levi got after the wedding. Though the residence is spacious, it was rarely used since you and Levi are always at the Headquarters.
