"How will I ever recover from this... physically and mentally?!", Tommy sighs dramatically as the others skip or wobble their legs anxiously. "We haven't even begun yet!", you laugh. You're just going to try and have some fun. Normally you aren't the best in sports (or any physical activity really), but this seems fun! Except for when you get hit by that turning beam, or that swinging ball, or that... never mind.

The employees of the parkour check if everything's working alright, and Tommy grabs your shoulders from behind. He plants his chin on your shoulder and you turn your head to face him "Why don't you go first?", he says, with that sneaky little voice. You turn around and grab his shoulders now. "I don't think I have a choice!", you say, actually pretty hyped.

Phil helps you adjust a camera on your helmet and on your chest. You make some silly faces to both of them, realising that Tommy is probably going to use them in the vlog. You quickly hide your tongue and double chin away from the camera as you get a sign from the employees that you can start.

One of them leads you to the start of the parkour by the arm. You look up to see the employee's face and realize it's a boy around your age. It looks like he's just been in the water himself because his medium-long dark hair is sticking against his cheeks and his neck. He gives you a smile. "Nervous?", he asks. You shrug and give him a sheepish smile. "Me? Nervous? Never! I was born for this!" That was a stupid answer, Tess. Very awkward.

"Hey!" You turn around as you hear Jade call out. "Yeah, you! Boy with dark hair! Don't get too close to my girlfriend!" You can't hold your laugh as the boy releases your arm immediately. He places his hands around his mouth and yells back: "Don't worry! I am gay!" You laugh even more and lean in to fist bump the employee. "Slaaaay, bestie!" Okay, Tess. That was also awkward.

"I need something to calm me down", you whisper into the camera. You wiggle your legs around as the beams in front of you start moving. "I wish Gogy was here." Your friends on the sideline are becoming impatient and Tommy starts yelling at you. "Tess! Just go, you pussy!" You throw your hands in the air. "Okay, okay!"

Instead of choosing your steps carefully, you decide to just run for it. The last beam almost touches your foot, but you can safely get to the other side. Jade starts cheering and the others join in, except Tommy. He had probably rather seen you fall into the cold water underneath you.

You head over to the next part, which is a path with two big beams swinging through it. The others have to pull a rope or something to get them moving, and you already see that Phil takes the lead. The beams start swinging faster and faster, and you wait until you find a good moment. But there isn't going to be a better moment, Tess. Just go for it.

You wait until one bar is flying through the air and run over the path as elegant as possible. Then you do it again with the second bar and finish it without getting thrown into the water! Now the others also wanted to see you in the water, and they all let go of a disappointed sigh. "Hey! Be a little bit happy that I completed it!", you laugh. "It would be better content if you just slipped and fall!", Will calls back, not trying to sound sympathetic.

After a couple of other little obstacles (yes, you did fall into the water two times) you climb back to the side with a tight wetsuit and your long, wet blond hair sticking to your face. Jade gives you a side hug and runs her hand through your hair, making it all messy. "Hey! Don't make me look bad on the vlog!", you complain with a laugh. Tommy walks up beside you and joins the hug, coming way too close. "Don't worry, Tess. You already looked ugly anyway-" "You're my twin-" "-Shut up."

Charlie, Phil and Jade have already been on the obstacle course and it's now Tommy's turn. You and Tubbo were hungry so you went on a hunt for some crisps. Now you're enjoying your bag of Lays, watching your twin brother struggle on the course. You look at Tubbo, who's just grasping a hand full of crisps. "Hey, Toby. I noticed you're a bit quiet today, everything alright?", you ask. 

Tubbo looks at you with a tired smile. "Oh, yeah, I'm okay. Just had a stressful week with not a lot of sleep", he puts the crisps in his mouth and rubs his hands, "And now I am saving energy for when it's my turn!" You laugh at the crumbs falling out of Tubbo's mouth, forming a small pile on the grass below. "Well, yeah. You're very much going to need it."

Tommy is now on the part where you must jump from one ball to another. This was the very one where you fell into the water, just like Charlie and Phil. Your girlfriend somehow made it to the other side, and you have no idea how. Maybe she's secretly a witch or something and she made a potion of leaping. 

"How the fuck do you do this?", Tommy yells from over the water. You and your friends just keep on cheering, waiting for your brother to fall into the water underneath him. He jumps on top of the first ball, which slightly shakes under his feet. Tommy lets go of a high-pitched scream and you can't hold your laugh. You make sure you have everything on camera for the vlog, and try to remember that you should send the footage to your own phone after this.

"Just be like a frog Tommy!", Charlie calls, "Let your inner frog come free!" Tommy shakes his head but listens to Charlie, taking a frog position. With one hand recording your brother, you take your own phone with the other hand to take a quick picture. "This is all I need", you say, "I have so much to blackmail my own twin with."

After taking the time to take a deep breath, Tommy takes off and jumps to the other ball. He doesn't even come close and hits his helmet against the red obstacle. You gasp with worry for your brother, but the others laugh at the failure. Fortunately, he isn't dead and after two seconds he comes to the surface again. He swims back to the shore slowly and shows a painful smile.

"The frog strategy didn't work, Charlie...", he laughs. "You just didn't try your very best!", Charlie frowns. Tommy throws his hands up in the air. "Then why didn't you succeed, Charlie Slimecicle?" Charlie obviously hasn't got an answer to that and you all decide it's time for a quick break to drink some water and have a snack.

You pull Tommy away from Will for a second as you slowly keep on walking. "Take off your helmet", you demand. Tommy gives you a frown. "Why? We're only taking a break for five minutes or so." You shake your head and click the strap on your brother's helmet open, taking it off. You sigh as you take a look at the red spot just next to where the border of his helmet was. It's not that bad, but a little stream of blood drips on Tommy's face.

"Oh", Tommy just says, "I didn't even notice it. Wait... Did you feel it?! TWIN TELEPATHY?!" You can't help but chuckle. "No, you dickhead. I just saw you were in pain. Why didn't you say something, pussy?!" You give him a slight push on the arm. Tommy always does that. He doesn't want other people worrying about him. You don't give Tommy time to answer your question. You quickly find an employee to get a small band-aid and wrap it around Tommy's head as if he's had the biggest concussion ever. "Now you look stupid. It suits you."

SOOOOOO YES HELLO HERE I AM AGAIN (i know it took way too long)
i was planning on uploading this chapter almost directly after the previous one, but as you can maybe notice i had a hard time with that, lol.

these are the last weeks of school and that means a lot of ending activities and stuff (i literally went to Belgium twice in one week lmaooo) because my school thought they should compensate for all the cancelled trips due to covid.

but i very much hope you enjoyed this chapter and i am planning on writing one about vidcon! Has anyone from you been there yesterday or are you guys still there?  I would LOOOVEE to hear about it, it seemed so fun!
