6 3 The Fall of Shire Towey

Annelece and Adelaida stood before an open portal, Annelece held the portal open with his magic, "Oh, I cannot be patient anymore!" Adelaida complained, "Sir Ariel has been away for hours now. I think he has lost his way, we must go in search of him,"
"No, your highness. That is too dangerous!" Annelece warned her, "We might encounter demons and unlike demigods, we aren't capable of defeating them,"
"You keep forgetting, dear Annelece. I'm a demigod too!"

"But your highness, you do not know how to fight,"
"Well, then, now must be the hour that I learn," She stepped inside the other world through the portal, "Your highness, no!"
"Yes! I shall be back once I find Mr Nataniel, Sir Ariel and Ms Jevelene. Wait for us!" She ran inside while Annelece was left yelling her name. Happiness stood beside him.
"You won't go?"
"And risk my life without my paired demigod? Nope," Happiness said.

Ariel grabbed his trident and ran towards Beelzebub. He screamed as he slammed the trident onto Beelzebub's body but he quickly teleported into the sky and the trident simply went deep into the burning rocks. Beelzebub giggled, "That's the best an angry demigod can do?"
All other demons laughed beside him and Ariel looked up, his eyes bright orange from all the fire. He pulled his foot back and pulled his trident back. "Holy shit," Beelzebub flew ahead but Ariel clutch him by his feet, he slammed him into the lava. 

He emerged back from the boiling lava and flew up, Ariel followed as he ran through the lava, freezing it into gold. They ran across the black valley of hell, down the red moon and soon reached the palace of pillars. Each pillar had a beautifully detailed artwork engraved over it and Beelzebub moved across them swiftly, like a snake. While Ariel destroyed everything that came in his way, he was enraged. 

The faster Beelzebub flew, the faster he ran and Leviathan flew over them, "Ariel! Stop! Don't go after him!"He yelled from the sky, but Ariel was too much in a frenzy to listen.

Jevelene lay on the burning pedestal, awaiting her death as Ariel left her behind. Her eyes were covered with the demonic blight and she couldn't see anything but darkness. Soon, the floor turned soothing and cold, "Nataniel," She whispered.
"Jevelene!" She felt his cold hands upon her and felt hope renew back into her.
"Oh god, what happened to you?" Nataniel's voice was gentle, soothing and calm. It wasn't hoarse and cranky like Ariel, but pleasing and vague. She felt his hands on her face and pressed her hands over his cold hands.

So soft and nurturing. She held his hand between her tiny palms as tears left her eyes, "Nataniel..."
"Yes, yes I'm here, Jevelene. Talk to me," 
"Ariel..." She spoke softly, "You have to find Ariel..."

"And leave you behind like this? No," He hugged her gently, "We must treat you,"
"No," Jevelene swallowed a lump in her throat, "Listen to me...You have to save him, he's...He's a demigod...We need him,"
"A demigod?" Beth looked horrified.
"But so are you," Nataniel told Jevelene. Beth looked at Jevelene.
She smiled, "I'm afraid it ends here...Go..."

"No,"
"Nathaniel-"
"I'M NOT RUNNING AWAY!" He yelled, "We'll be okay, Jevelene!" He hugged her tightly, "I'll save you, I'll save everyone. I will be your monster, only yours,"
Beth's eyes widened as he listened to him. Nataniel moved his hand across her body and it froze, "This will prevent the blight from spreading further," Jevelene felt his hands slowly pulling away and her body went numb. 

Nataniel left her laying on the pedestal which was entirely iced now. He turned towards Beth, "Beth, take care of her until I return," 
The lava split into one huge bridge of ice and snow and Nataniel went sliding down on his feet, leaving Jevelene in Beth's hands. 

Beelzebub ran before Ariel and Ariel slammed his trident on the pillar, "Haha! You missed!" Beelzebub laughed as he cunningly slipped through the pillars. These were the pillars of the twelve holy stars. The story went that when the golden castle fell after Beauty's banishment from heaven, the twelve pillars that were the shrine symbol of the twelve stars fell with him and they landed in hell, where now after thousands of years, they had created an ecosystem of their own that did not allow any demonic energy to touch them or penetrate their spirit energy.
