The Meteor

A/N:

so, as you can see. I skipped cowbot. the reason is that the episode only focuses on sonic, tails, and eggamn. and, yes, i know the gang is seen in the beginning, but that's just it. you don't really see them for the entire episode. 

also, i'm sorry if this is so bad! i kinda rushed it bc i got some other school work due tom-- and i gotta do that, but since the chapter was started, i might as welll finish it.

so which is why i skipped it. i'll so that for most of the other episodes, but i'll try my best not to <3

"I think this marsh mellow is broken!" You complained as you shook the marsh mellow on your stick as you sat criss-cross on the ground in front of a newly made campfire.

"How can you break a marsh mellow-?" Sonic asked as he sat down beside you.

"i don't know. But my marsh mellow won't roast!" you whined, throwing the stick to Sonic, who caught it and looked at it at then the fire.

Then he took the marsh mellow off the stick and threw it in the fire.

"NO! YOU ANIMAL!"

"I get that--" 

Sonic was cut off by you tackling him and tried to take his marsh mellow, and that ended up with a sand fight.

Amy rolled her eyes as she watched the two until her eyes were locked on Tails, who was lying on a rock, staring at the dark sky.

"Tails, what are you doing?" She asked. 

"Just watching this beautiful meteor shower!" Tails responded, and the gang looked up to find metor's with different color streaks flying across the sky. 

"That one's flying beautifully towards us!" Knuckles smiled, pointing to a blue meteor fly, as you guess it, towards them at a fast pace.

The meteor flew over them and crashed into the volcano.

Tails was the first to stand.

"This could be a major find! We need to approach it with great care so that---"

"Race ya!" Sonic yelled as he pushed you off of him and ran towards the meteor.

"I'M NOT FORGIVING YOU FOR THAT MARSHMELLOW!!" you yelled, running after him, with the gang following close behind.

"Ha! First!" Sonic cheered as he watched the others make their way toward him, but before he could say anything else, Eggman's voice could be heard just above the group.

"Think again, Sonic!"

Eggman hovered over the volcano with his Eggmobile as he grinned.

"Eggman?"

"That's right! And as the intrepid explorer who discovered this regal rock, I hereby call--dibs!"

"What? You can't call dibs!" Sonic snapped.

"Oh, so now you don't respect dibs? What's next? You gonna allow cutsies? Flout the five-second rule? Step on a crack with no regard for your mother's spinal column?"

"I don't think we have mothers--"

Amy elbowed you in the rib, and glared at you.

"What?-"

"Not cool, Sonic!" Knuckles glared at Sonic. 

"Of course I respect dibs! But you can only call dibs if you're touching the thing that you desire to dib!" Sonic explained, looking over to Eggman.
