"can i take this off now? it itches," sam protests, attempting to rub his left eye before iris stops him.
after leaving the sturniolo household, iris and flora picked up sam who had come back from a photoshoot in london.
it took some convincing, but finally, sam gave in and let iris and flora try makeup on him.
"don't. you'll run your mascara." iris warns. ever since hearing chris, iris has been on edge, making almost everything irritate her. "it burns, iris. i don't think it should be burning."
"i think he's suffered enough," flora jumps in, noticing sam's red eye. sam furiously nods and iris sighs, "i guess he has." sam jumps from the bed and runs to flora's bathroom where her makeup remover is.
once sam was done taking off everything from his face, he walks back in and lays on flora's bed. iris is standing, putting away the makeup, while flora is sitting next to sam.
"so," sam starts, looking at flora. "new boyfriend?" both iris and flora freeze, both for different reasons. "who, chris?" flora blushes. sam laughs, "well, it's not like you have other options."
"sam's right." both flora and sam turn to look at iris.
"he is?"
"i am?"
"you should have more options." iris clarifies. she promised not to tell flora about chris' true intentions, but she can't let him hurt flora either. why not encourage flora to have more guys so when chris leaves, what happened with michael won't repeat itself.
flora looks at iris confused. she thought iris liked the triplets, so why is she even suggesting cheating? sure, it's a fake relationship, but it's still wrong.
"what?" flora laughs nervously. iris walks closer to the bed. "you're trying to forget about michael right?" the room goes quiet, but iris continues. "then you're going to need more than one guy."
"i- is chris that bad?" sam jokes, obviously trying to lift up the mood. "no," flora says defensively at the same time iris says, "yes." sam looks between flora and iris, awkwardly. "right..."
"i know this is new and fast," flora sighs, grabbing coco. "but please just give him a chance." iris has to bite down her tongue, but eventually nods. "ok, one chance though, no more."
"i'm so confused right now."
"i'm still confused."
chris sighs. after flora and iris left, matt went straight to chris' room and they've been talking for some time now as nick uploaded their video.
"just trust me," chris sets his phone down after reposting on his instagram story about their new video. "you've noticed the sub and follower numbers go high everyday. it's working."
matt just looks at his brother unsure. "yea, but you're still using her." chris scoffs, "and she's using me to get with model face."
except it's not the same. "you offered to. this she doesn't know about."
"matt," chris groans, "i know what i'm doing. i promise." matt just shakes his head, but doesn't say anything. he didn't bother telling chris about iris, not wanting to stress his brother more than he is right now.
plus he'll tell chris later.
"but i am going to need your help," matt looks at chris, waiting. "i need to know everything about having an ex im still not over."
matt frowns, "i'm over scottie."
"right, of course."
