" I KNOW YOU HAVE THAT PROTEST TONIGHT SO BE CAREFUL ! "

" YOU KNOW I WILL ! "

LIFE AND THE HARTMAN-MCCREARY HOUSE WAS sort of chaotic, considering it was only three of them in the household. They were always busy with their own thing, it was rambunctious there. The two Hartman children were still getting used to living with their Auntie Luanne, or Auntie Lua, as they called her. She supported everything that the siblings did, no matter what. They were a family regardless, even though the two Hartmans didn't really know their aunt very well. She just volunteered to take the two of them in when though the two of them were both adults. Every since their eldest sister and their parents died, they really didn't know what to do. So they moved in with her. They needed somewhere to start. And they finally got to meet their aunt from their mother's side of the family, which is something that the two Hartmans were very worried about. The rumors about her? Their family had been totally wrong about her, and they ended up loving her. Well, one sibling anyways, since they were much more alike.

David Hartman had been in a rush. He grabbed his protest flyers off of the counter with his backpack on his back. He always walked around like he was in a rush, but tonight was important. Any night when they were having a protest was important. People in the eighties sucked, and David experienced that firsthand. Davie, as he was known by others was a kind soul. He cared about everyone. He was willing to fight for everyone, even if he had to die doing it. Whatever it took for everyone to be equal no matter what. And that's how his Auntie Lua was, and that's why they were alike.

"Lina!" Davie shouted upstairs, "If you want my to take you to work, then come on! Let's go!"

"Hold on a damn second!" His sister, Angelina shouted back as she was in the bathroom, curling her hair.

"Come on! You know I have to be at school!"

"Wait a minute!"

Davie groaned in annoyance. "If you don't come down in five minutes, I'm leaving you!"
