"We just landed so... we just gotta, um," I hear her voice drift off before it sounds like the phone is away from her mouth more and she says, "Yeah, babe go with them," I can hear her voice clearer again as she corrects herself, "They I guess are gonna go get her bags," Nezza says, her voice and her rambling showing how exhausted she is, "Me and... oh no, um, Franny, I think I lost Dani," I furrow my eyebrows,

"Nezza, how do you lose a twenty year old woman?" As I ask, everyone around the room that's awake shoots their eyes over to look at me confused,

"I-I don't know, she was just behind me, staring at the wall and now she's gone. Okay, I gotta go, see you soon," I widen my eyes, pulling my had away from my ear to look at my phone, seeing that she actually just hung up,

"Did she just... say she lost Dani?" Tara asks, pushing herself off of Jake's chest into a sitting position. I blink a few time, processing before nodding,

"Yup," Her, Chelsey, Ryan, Will, and Oscar all stare at me, clearly just as confused as I am. Dyl went home because he was tired and wanted to get out of the way, Jake is passed out next to Tara, Reggie, Cassie, and Kevin went home, and Christian had... I think a date? I don't really know. But the six of us plus Jake are the only ones left here. I feel my phone buzz as I set it down, a few times actually, but I just assume it's Nezza saying she found her and move on, "Did we like do everything we needed to?" Chelsea sighs, standing up and watching into the kitchen to look around as Tara settles back down, Will and Oscar both looking around thinking, and Ryan closing his eyes.

We're all exhausted, and stressed. No one who went has told us anything, and anytime we start talking about old memories we get stressed, and it's just been a... long day. I can't even imagine how JC is feeling.

I don't even want to think about Dani and how she's feeling, I just have to hope. It's going to be okay. It has to be.

But we always thought that way about taking risks when she was here and look what's happening.

Ryan keeps reminding us that this is her mental illness and even if all of this was being said about her the same way on socials, if she didn't have these problems then everything would realistically right. I know he's right it's just... hard to not blame ourselves.

"Okay, I got rid of all of the onions, the nuts and stuff, everything but like that giant thing of peanut butter, everyone needs to be careful with that touching anything, and... is she allergic to anything else? Does anyone remember... at all?" I rub my forehead, leaning down,

"She couldn't eat the onions that one time for that challenge we were doing, she had to leave the room," Oscar say, confused, "I didn't even know she was allergic to anything else," Chelsey and I nod our heads frantically,

"No, no, no, yeah, she's really, really allergic to everything she's allergic too. One time when they were all living together," She points at me, and I shake my head with a laugh, knowing what time she's thinking of, "Bobby wanted to do one of the what's in the box challenges for a vlog, and then after they were finished filming, I think it was him, JC, and Corey, JC and Kian had to go do something, and by the time they got back with me, because they picked me up on the way back, the ambulance was on its way because Corey had blindfolded her and had her stick her hand in some... thing of peanut butter," Everyone's eyes are wide and I laugh,

"It was much less sick than it sounds. We had just all moved in and I had barely ever met her. She was younger so she just did what we said all the time, so we thought it'd be fun to play the game with her, off camera. She just didn't think for some reason to tell us," I look back at Chels, "But no, that was bad. She was like, in full anaphylactic shock," Chelsey shakes her head and Ryan speaks up now,

"Damn, Corey tried to kill Dani," Will laughs, and I laugh, memories popping into my head,

"He was almost as close with her as Kian is, same thing, seriously. Like I don't know how much, for example, you saw that Tara, or even Will, but he was as close with her as he was with any of us," Ryan, Will, and Oscar all nod, Ryan shaking his head after really hard before changing the subject,

"So she's sleeping in that room in JC's, so she's using his bathroom?" I look at Chelsey who leans against the wall, nodding, "Is no one worried about her..." I close my eyes, and I hear Oscar make a frustrated noise, "Hey, I'm just asking because I know you said JC was worried and that was part of why he didn't tell Kian yet, okay? It's a valid concern," I turn my head to look at the wall, trying not to think about it.

"I hate to say it bro," Will addresses Oscar, who shakes his head,

"Yeah but we don't have to babyproof the whole fucking house! We're moving out soon, and she's an adult! We can't act like she's 15 again and she's just gonna stick her hand in peanut butter! Or eat an onion! Or slice her damn arms up or some shit, for fuck's sake!" I take in a deep breath, trying not to look at the guy who is now standing, as Will does too, and Ryan shakes his head, sighing. Tara bites her lip, and I see Jake's eyes open, watching everything silently,

"Hey, dude, come on, let's, let's go upstairs." We all watch as Oscar storms upstairs, Will following him.

"What is going on with him, he's been like pissed all fucking day," Jake asks, stretching is arms out, and I shake my head, standing up,

"We're all stressed, it's been a long day. Chels, why don't you and Tara and Jake stay down here and Ryan and I will- Chels? Are you okay?" I look at her and I see a few tears falling.

"Chelsey?" Tara stands too, walking over and running her hand up and down Chelsey's arm. Ryan stands to walk over behind me, "Come on, sit down. You've, you've been going all day. Come here," Tara pulls Chelsey over to where she was sitting next to Jake, both of them sitting down and her starting to rub Chelsey's back before looking at us, "Go, we'll be down here. I think more than just Oscar needs a break for a second," She smiles, and Ryan nods,

"Alright," He walks towards the stairs, "We're gonna um, not babyproof the room, I guess and um, yeah." He swallows and I follow him up, taking a glance back at Chelsey. I see her looking at me and I offer her a sad smile, knowing what she's thinking.

This was never supposed to happen.

This is why she went to college.
