*y/n's pov*

After going to Lizzies house and thanking her for watching Gabby we made our way over to Chris's place (let's say both lizzie and Chris have houses in New York)

"Mama down" I hear as I walk me and Gabby to Chris's door

"Okay but you have to hold my hand okay" I tell her

She nodded and grabbed my finger with her tiny little hand once I put her down

Before we could even get to the door it was flung open and Chris ran the short distance over to us gently picking up Gabby and spinning around making her cute little giggles fill our ears

"Gab Gab!" Chris yelled placing kisses all of her face

"Cissss" she giggles

Gabby couldn't properly say Chris yet so it always came out as cis (it sounds like kiss)

Chris eventually stopped kissing Gabs face and pulled me into a hug while Gabby was inbetween us

"Great to know you like my kid more then me" I joke pulling out of the hug

"I mean who wouldn't like her more then you" he joked with a smirk earning a playful slap to the arm from me

"Doggie" Gabby asked pointing inside

"Yeppers Gabs Dogers inside" Chris says with a smile as we walk inside

*Time skip because I'm lazy*

Gabby was currently sitting on the floor of the living room playing with her toys while doger sat beside her

Chris bought some toys for Gabby while she was at his house so we wouldn't have to worry about forgetting some or finding extra space  to bring toys

"So what been going on in your life?" He asked poking my shoulder

"Well James still hasn't called and I've been busy with filming for this new thing hence Lizzie watching Gabs today...sometimes I feel I'm not a being a good mom...what mom relies on other people to watch her kid so she can be gone the whole day? I can't even give her a father" I sigh looking at Gabby

Chris and I have a really good relationship and are really open with eachother he's like the older brother I've never had

Ever since age of ultron he's always been there, same with the rest of the cast but Chris was just different if that makes sense

They were all so supportive when I was pregnant and helped me get through the pregnancy and Chris, Lizzie and Scar were actually in the room when I gave birth. If that doesn't bring people closer I don't know what does

"Y/n you can't blame yourself, if James doesn't wanna be In Gabbys life then that's on him. He's missing out on seeing a beautiful little girl grow up. Being a single mom is hard especially being young and busy but you make it work, you bust your ass off and then go home and be a super mom...we all love Gabby so so much and love getting to watch her when we can. You are the reason Gabby is such an amazing little girl because she got to learn from her amazing mother. Gabby knows you love her. I don't want to ever hear you say that your not a good mother because that's just a lie and you know lying isn't good"

When Chris stopped speaking I felt a tear escape my eye and roll down my cheek

"Oh kiddo come here" he frowned opening his arms

I didn't hesitate to melt into the hug as he wrapped his arms around me

He made me feel safe and relaxed

"Thank you Chris for everything" I mumble into the hug

"No need to thank for kiddo I'd do anything for you and Gabs same with the others" he assured

After our heart to heart Gabby came waddling over to me giving me grabby hands meaning she wanted up

I picked her up and let her sit on my lap but she quickly stood up on my lap and brought her hands up to my cheeks

"No cry Mama" she pouted wiping my tears away

I let out a small laugh

"I'm sorry baby" I smile

"Better?" She asked

"Yep" I smiled tickling her

Chris sat beside us watching with a big smile just enjoying the moment

Thank you for being so understanding  and saying to take my time with posting my last day of school is the 23rd so I'm hoping I'll be able to post more once I'm done

I know this isn't a request but I got this idea and just kept writing and thought it was better then nothing lol and I am of course still working on the requests that are way way over due
