Max, Adira and Dustin peddled as fast as they could to the video store where Robin and Steve were currently working. They chucked their bikes down in front of the store and then quickly made their way inside, Dustin throwing the door open violently, almost knocking the bell off with the top of the door

"Hey Steve!" Dustin quickly boomed, ignoring the loss of breath he was experiencing from his fast the three of them had rode over there.

"Hey Stevie, Rob," Adira said as she greeted her brother and best friend. Robins eyes lit up at the sight of the girl, her hand subconsciously reaching up to her face and sweeping some of her hair behind her ear

"Well if it isn't my best friend," Robin said with a wide grin as she looked over at Adira, her eyes glinting, "Steve and I we-"

"We don't have the time to have a nice little scoops troop reunion ladies, we need to talk business," Dustin interrupted the two girls, practically moving Adira out of his way as he shoved past her and made his way over to the counter.

The sound of the radio suddenly hit Adiras ears and she realised the two of them had heard the news. The Hawkins police were talking about the murder of a Hawkins teen on practically every channel, Adira doubted there was a single person that didn't know by now.

"Are you guys hearing this?" Steve asked the three of them as he looked between them and the radio, "someone was murdered." He suddenly turned to look at his sister with a stern look, "You didn't come home last night and I was shitting bricks where the hell were you?"

"Sorry, I was staying with Max," Adira told her brother, "and I'm rarely home so I figured you would have just assumed that I stayed at a friends house."

"Might I repeat that we don't have time for this?" Dustin interjects once again before turning his attention towards Steve, "how many phones do you have?" Dustin exclaimed, his voice raising with every word that he says

"We have two, why?" Steve asked in confusion, trying to figure out why Dustin was in such a rush and why his sister looked like she had been crying

"Uh technically three of you count Kieth's in the back," Robin quickly added as she pointed over to the third phone over on the other side of the counter

"Yeah, three works," Max quickly says as she nods her head. Robin and Steve all looked confused as the three teens who had rushed into the store all gave each other a look.

"You alright Addy?" Steve asked his sister in concern. She just nodded her head and looked away from him, worried that if she were to meet his eyes, she would just start crying all over again

Dustin quickly takes his backpack off his back and then flings it onto the counter in front of them all, quickly snapping Steve's attention away from his sister and now to Dustin.

Steve looked completely unimpressed and rather bored at the via the boys actions as some of the tapes on the desk fell onto the floor.

"What are you doing?" Steve asked in confusion. Dustin suddenly shoved his bag and knocked a bunch of things off the desk, "No what the hell, my pile!"

"No no no no no, my tapes! Dude!" Robin exclaims as she looks at all the tapes that Dustin had just knocked onto the floor

"Well that's dramatic," Adira muttered out with a sigh as Dustin decided to climb over the counter instead of use the small door around the side to get in

"What are you doing man?" Steve frowned in annoyance and frustration as Dustin made his way over to the computer and then sat down in front of it, completely disregarding the large mess he had made

"Setting up base of operations here," Dustin replied. Obviously not caring at all that he had just ruined the piles of tapes Robin and Steve had spent hours resetting and putting into order for the next customer

Adira and Max went around and through the door befor standing with the rest of them, watching what Dustin was doing on the computer

"Base of operations?" Steve asked, once again his voice was filled with confusion as his eyebrows furrowed and he leaned closer to try and get a better look at what Dustin was searching up on the computer, "stop. Get off of that," Steve told him, worried that he would get in trouble and maybe even lose his job

"No I need it," Dustin fired back and began to type things into the computer rapidly

"For what?" Steve asked in annoyance

"Jesus, these two never stop bickering do they?" Adira asked Robin with a small chuckle. Robin turned and grinned at the shorter girl

"I know right. They argue like an old married couple," Robin replied with a giggle before they looked back at the computer

"Eddie's friends phone numbers," Dustin replied to Steve

"Oh Eddie, your new best friend Eddie who you think is cooler then me because he plays some nerdy game," Steve replied sarcastically

"Ehh yes," Dustin groaned before quickly correcting himself, "I never said that!"

"Jealously is not a good look on you brother," Adira told him and playfully punched his shoulder.

"I'm not jealous, loser," Steve replied and playfully shoved her back. Adira just smirked, it was extremely clear that Steve was jealous over the fact that Dustin had a new friend. Adira was able to pick up on jealousy from a mile away, she used to have to deal with it from Billy, despite the hard exterior he showed everyone, he was actually extremely insecure and often worried that he wasn't good enough for the girl so one day, someone else would come and take her from him.

She frequently had to tell him that she loved him and didn't want anyone else, but it didn't seem to stick in his head

"Seriously, you guys, maybe on a Monday you can mess around, but it's Saturday," Robin whined, "it is our busiest day," she groaned out as she began to pick the stuff off the ground and put it back onto the bench

Adira went over and helped the girl pick it all up and put it back on the bench. Robin thanked her softly, hiding her face as her cheeks went pink when her hand had brushed against Adiras

"Robin, I empathise, but this cannot wait until Monday," Dustin said, not even bothering to look away from the computer screen as he 'apologised' to Robin

"Oh my god," Steve groaned out and rubbed his hand over his face. He agreed with Robin , they didn't have the time for this, but also, at the same time, he wanted to know what had the three teens so worked up all of the sudden

"Oh because calling Eddie's friends is an emergency?" Robin asked sarcastically as she placed the things down on the counter a little too hard

"Correct!" Dustin yells back, still not telling Robin or Steve what was going on

"So uh, do you want me to strangle him or do either of you want to?" Steve asked his sister and co-worker as he finally went over there to help the two of them clean up the mess that Dustin had made

"We could take turns," both Adira and Robin chime in

"Look can either of you fill them in while I do this?" Dustin asked max and Adira impatiently as if someone had just broken into his work and started using the equipment without permission

"Well you were the one that was so adamant on us keeping quiet," Adira said as the finally finished cleaning up and then she lifted herself onto the counter, swinging her legs back and forth

"Wait, fill us in in what?" Robin asked in confusion and hopefulness. She wanted in. Work was boring and she was up for an adventure

"Max it might be better if you tell them," Adira admitted. She already knew that she would break down as soon as she started talking about it, so she decided it was best for Max to talk about it.

Max nodded her head before turning to Steve and Robin, filling them in on everything that had happend
