He walked down the hallway to her room. That was the first thing he thought of going after she walked out from the bitter scene earlier. With each step he took, it was as if the weight of his emotions was stopping him from confronting her.

Now that he was in front of her room and he had raised his fist next to the wooden door. He was unable to knock on her door, he was disappointed in himself.

He lowered his hand and took a deep breath. He decided that was not the right time to talk to her and apologize. He walked towards the glass door, when he found the food that had just been on the balcony was put inside by the maids. He immediately took his eyes off it before it added more to his guilt.

He was about to open the fragile door when he heard Layla barking. She followed him so he couldn't help but smile "Do you want to come with me?"

He left the house as his dog followed him. It was already dark outside, but he did not hesitate to go to a place where he could think clearly and where he could have time for himself.

He went down the cement staircase where at the bottom was the shore. There he can refresh, when he is upset the sound of the waves and the fresh air are enough for him to forget his problems.

He sat on the sand and Layla stood beside him as if ready to listen to what he had to say.

"Layla, I still feel too confused for my feelings for her." He said as he let the waves flow to his feet.

"Looks like I hurt her with what I said, my words were too harsh. I didn't want to hurt her feelings." He carressed Layla.

"Do you think ... she can still forgive me?" He asked the dog as if it would answer him.

Layla looked at him, and barked silently so he just smiled "I hope so too that she will forgive me."

He stood up from sitting the sand to enter their white mansion, while Layla followed him. It was getting late but when he got inside someone called him on the phone.

Minji woke up the next day after she cried last night just because the person that she likes, didn't return her feelings.

She is not like this. She doesn't cry for guys  but she usually makes them cry. But because of the simple rejection of the guy that she only met the other day, it was as if she was a crybaby who could not accept rejection.

Because no one has rejected her yet! He was the first man to make her cry and turned her down. Why didn’t he even give her a chance to be acceptable as his ideal type?

"He's so full of himself, he is not very handsome that's the truth!" She yelled then burried her face on the pillow "But he's really handsome Minji, he just really doesn't like you." She punched the bed repeatedly in annoyance.

She got up from the bed then left the room, she saw Jake's room was open and even she felt annoyed with him. She peeked through the doorway but all she saw was Jo cleaning inside. So, does that mean he's not in his room?

She now went outside the mansion to feel the sunshine at that beautiful morning. She saw Kei, who was solemnly standing near the pool. Even though no strangers come there he really takes his work seriously.

She approaches him even though she's a bit shy, he looks at her with a poker face "What do you need?"

"Mr. Kei, just wanted to ask if you know where Jake is?" She rubbed the back of her neck.

"Sir Jake went home to their house in Seoul, he left early this morning. So Miss Minji don't wait for him to come back today because he will be back tomorrow." He replied.

She widened her eyes as she nodded "What do you think is the reason for him coming back there?" She thought she was the reason so she couldn't help but ask.

He looked at her in disbelief "Why do you want to know? What is your relationship with him? Are you his girlfriend, no you're not." Those words really hurt her feelings.

She looked down "I'm not his girlfriend, you're right."

Kei sighed "The reasons for his flight to Seoul are very personal. He also didn't tell me the real reason but I'm sure it's important."

She thanked him and went inside again. She ate breakfast and sluggishly sat in her favorite spot in the living room. She saw Layla asleep in the corner and a few minutes later she was already bored.

"What can be done in this big mansion?" She looked up at the stairs and decided to look for something that would get rid of her boredom.

Losing him around her was one of the reasons she was bored. She is used to flirting with him or teasing and arguing with him. But she also can't do all that again as she will be really ashamed after she confessed yesterday.

She would rather not see him right now, destiny seems to favor her when he had just left for Seoul.

Her feet brought her to the front door of Jake's library. Without asking for permission she opened it, there were so many books there that she had no interest in reading. She is not the kind of person who likes to read.

She looked through the book titles one by one as her fingers slid through the book spines arranged on the shelves.

When her eyes saw an interesting photo album located at the end. She took it recklessly because she was so interested.

She carried it towards the red velvet chair and then comfortably sat. She laid it on her lap and opened it to the first page.

As she expected the whole family was there, she couldn't help but adore the photo of young Jake. Later on, she opened it to the next page where she could see that he was hugging his mother.

"He seems to love his mother very much." She chuckled and suddenly she felt deep sadness "How does mother's hug feel? I really want to know."

Since childhood she has known no mother. Because the truth is that she and her older brother are just an adopted children of their political father.

She shrugged the sad thought then turned to the next page where she saw Jake who seemed to have donated to the dog day care, he was smiling widely with Layla in his arms. Behind them can be seen the dogs and the day care owner.

"You're really my ideal type, Jake. But I don't seem to have much hope in you, so I will not really expect you to like me back." She nodded to herself.

"I'll change myself when i'm with you, I won't flirt with you anymore and I'll just treat you as a friend." She added.

But can she promise to just treat Jake as a friend?
