The moons out, I have a pen in hand. I wish I were writing the stars down by name, but these are only thoughts. Thoughts I like to call poems. ⭐

I don't know if I like this new road.

The old one had it's rough spots, bumpy turns, and faded lines.

But I new it by heart.

I knew the holes to avoid, and rough patches to watch out for.

This new road- it might be smooth, and the lines bright. But I have to learn it's secrets.

I'm sad, because even though the old road was exhausting to take, I knew it. This new road... What if it ends up being even rougher.
